Thank God for tripadvisor. We came out late for dinner and sat down at first "nice" place. After being totally ignored by the staff for 5 minutes we started to wonder? Quick check on tripadvisor and we realized this is their normal non service and we left for a real restaurant.

This hotel operated by very sweet owners is ideally located with a private car park. The rooms was very clean and have all the necessary things. You can have breakfast on tree locations and there is enough choice. We wil definitely stay there again.

The owner is a charming man who always has a smile on his face. Breakfast is buffet style and there is a considerable choice. A member of staff cooks an assortment of pastries, fruit pies etc which are delicious. The hotel is very old and this is part of its charm. However, the interior is dimly lit and could do...

Great little lakefront hotel with very kind service from the owners. Our room had great views of the lake and had a very reasonable size. Breakfast was also very varied and overall good. The hotel has also a small area for about 6-8 cars to park onsite, which was very helpful Can't really fault anything. If back in limone sul...

This is an amazing 1907 built hotel, taking you back to the time when hotels were first built in Limone sul Garda and when it was actually much nearer the Lake before the promenade in front of it was built (OK its now only 30 metres away). Its still run by the grandchildren of the family and it really gives...

Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and all fresh We went for a abort trip it riva del Garda and MacLaine . Both were great...

This could be such a lovely place with a little work/investment. The location is excellent right on the main promenade lakeshore of the old town. The bones of the bullding are 16th century overlaid with tired 1960s/1970s/1980s decor. We booked a junior suite with lakeview balcony for three nights as part of a two-week trip. So here it goes: there's...

Of the various towns and villages around Garda Lake, Limone rates at once as one of the most colourful and picturesque, and as the typical tourist trap. The only Italians one gets to see are the shop owners touting their goods (leatherware and limoncello), not infrequently immediately in German, so one has to specify "non siamo Tedeschi !", which usually...

We found this little gem of a B&B some years ago and have returned many times. Set on the lake side we book a junior suite - two lovely sized rooms with views across Lago sul Garda, balcony, fridge, TV (Italian) and safe. No air conditioning but fan supplied.Sun decks and hot tub. Continental breakfast; fruits, meats, cheese, eggs, yogurts, breads & rolls...

“While we're talking about Limone, both churches (San Rocco and San Benedetto) are well worth a visit (the former for its frescoes, the latter for its wood-carved Christ figure), but since the village is built against the cliffside, be ready for quite a climb in the smoldering heat to deserve the view.”

“Most rooms with lake views, but can be noisy early mornings with street cleaners, rubbish collections, early shop deliverys etc. due to the village being vehicle all day.”
