Another lovely stay. Having stayed at this hotel multiple times, on work trips and on pleasure trips with friends and family, the service and experience is always excellent. Stayed one night for a quick night away with my wife this time, was given the specific room I requested. Having stayed many times I have found a certain room that I consider to be the best room I have stayed in so now request this room on each of my visits. And to the hotel lobby staffs credit they managed to get me the room I requested. As usual, reception staff were excellent and more than helpful. Covid restrictions obviously effected certain things in the hotel, but as far as I was aware, all facilities were able to be used, albeit before certain times and bookings being taken. Winter wonderland looked excellent, unfortunately we were unable to attend any of the shows or have a meal there, but we heard great feedback from those who had. Room was as always, clean and tidy, all facilities in the room working and in good order. Lovely clean bathroom. If I had to pick at anything in the rooms…. They could do with USB ports in there somewhere. Still no USB access unless you bring your own. The free Shuttle bus from airport to hotel and back still running like clockwork. Every 30 mins from each end. (Airport&Hotel) Shuttle bus to and from town still running. (Cost applies) Didn’t get chance to visit the on site private cinema again. But did see people coming out from a screening on one of their screens. Myself and anyone I have taken to this hotel on my previous visits, have marked it up there with one of the best hotels they have stayed at. With multiple restaurants, bars, cinema, spa, pool, on site shop, and of course the 747 in the garden, this hotel has everything and more any guest would need. Well presented, and well staffed. Great for families with or without children, great for business trips, or just a few nights with a loved one for a break away. I look forward to my next stay in February when I return for work… covid restrictions pending. 🤞…
We had a 13 hour layover in amsterdam between flights and we decided to check in at a hotel. The room was decent but with very low pillows. We asked for two more which we got. Someones hair still lay in the bathroom corner when we arrived. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle worked well once we found it. It is NOT C13 But instead B14. No information what so ever about this anywhere online or on their site. We visited their cinema and watched the latest James Bond movie. It was a small movie theater and the experience was alright. Over all it was a good experience but with room for improvement.
To start, the staff was rude at check in. Then we rode the elevator up to the museum of stained carpet and dodged our way around to the room. The room was also carpeted with carpet that had been colorfully decorated with a selection of random fluids from the previous guests, The bed was pretty much worn out I was fooled by the good reviews but would never recommend this place.
Great hotel near the airport with free shuttle. We were amazed at the top quality and value of the restaurant on the 9th floor. Small venue so you should make a reservation. We loved the carpaccio, smaked burrata and the saltimbocca cooked in a charcoal grill.
I was surprised, how nice and pleasant the overall experience was! I would like to particularly thank the staff members. They were very nice, and helpful Same applies to the team leader at the check-out of the “urban house” who entrusted me with her lighter. Thank you for going above and beyond. I truly appreciate it!
