We were promised a glorious stay in a glorious room; what they neglected to tell us was that if you have a dog with you, you can't stay in one of the 'good' rooms, but are tucked away on the ground floor in a room where the loo doesn't work, the shower handle was stuck and the flooring was lose. We asked for another room, which we got, but this took a while. When I asked for some sort of discount for the first couple of days the woman behind the reception desk said that maybe our expectations were too high and all she could do was take off the extra amount for the dog for one day. Not happy at all... especially at the rates they charge during summer. (the cleaning staff and breakfast service were really lovely people though..)

The hotel provided a nice family room with 4 beds. Our bicycles were also prepared in advance. The rooms were clean, amenities well provided for and a fine shower. Breakfast was very nice and above expectations. Cozy atmosphere in the hotel and very relaxed. The staff were also very friendly. I would certainly return here.

Rooms are okay, big enough. The beds are singles and positioned as a double bed. But the gap between the beds is like the grand canyon. Not very romantic. Finishing of the hallway, stairs and reception is rustic. That is a nice word for outdated. The hotel is in dire need of a big renovation. Breakfest is very nice. Fresh bread, big choise of all you can think of. Buffet stile. Tea and coffee comes from a machine. Water is not really hot enough for tea. Coffee is just okay. Staff is friendly but not overly concerend with your well being.

Nice place to stay, on the main street in the island. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Rooms were clean and modern. Rooms are reasonably sized. Management is accommodating for various requests.
