The room was clean and functional but lacked charme as the name would indicate... The bar was somewhat nice but only served Pepsi (not Coke) and was quite pricey. Booked thru booking.com and even though a CC was only used to secure the room, the CC was charged by the hotel and couldn't be reversed.

Misleading name; no charme at all. Decent hotel, but wondering how they got four stars. Hotel building is old-fashioned (and shares its premises with a home for elderly). It seems rooms have not been renovated for a long time (some cracks in the wall, old TV-set, old curtains, old carpet). AND: bad bed (can still feel the springs of the... More

The hotel is centrally located in this small city. Rooms were fine, breakfast was good. Friendly staff. The only point I have against them is you can't charge your mobile unless you leave the lights on. As it cuts the electrical circulation of you close the lights.

We stayed one night in Oosterhout having a pitstop before driving the next day to Limburg. This hotel used to be an Golden Tulip hotel, but nowadays it is called Charme Hotel. It is directly in the heart of Oosterhout. It has paid parking and a 4 euro parking ticket for 1 day you can buy at the reception. There... More

The hotel is very central to the town, parking is available and at a small charge. A warm welcome on arrival and directed to our 3rd floor room. Slightly tired look and in need of a bit of TLC. Comfortable beds and additional pillows provided upon request from the receptionist. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There are... More

Stayed at the Charme Hotel for 2 nights with my partner, staff were lovely & was pleasantly surprised with the ultra modern restaurant! Food is beautiful and I had the best milkshake with my meal, very enjoyable! Room was clean and modern. Thanks Charme!

Stayed here this week for one night only, so cannot give full review. Overall, good hotel within this category. Rooms could do with a bit of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. One minus point: the bedroom doors are very noisy and some soundproofing is definitely needed. As opposed to that, the windows are excellent giving absolute soundproofing from any outside noise.... The room was adequate but the hotel was uninviting, sharing frontage with a Dominos pizza place, the smell from which pervaded the hotel reception. The dinner menu had nothing we were remotely attracted by and the only vegetarian option was a veggie burger. The meal prices were not given apart from the price for a three course meal and the... We stayed in this, nowadays called Charming, hotel just for one night and checked in on a Friday night at 7 pm. When we made our reservation we used the option for a parking place. We find out that the hotel itself has no parking places. All parking places are public. We drove around for 15 minutes, all places where... More

The hotel is practical in the centre, but really not charming as the name suggests. As far as we could tell it is a combined hotel and retirement home - which probably makes good sense from a financial perspective. Good points: - Rooms are spacious - bathtub en suite - Sauna free for use for guests. Not very clean, lacks... More
