We are located in a very quiet region where contact with the sea and nature is inevitable 40 km from the center of Lisbon. Ideal for those looking to relax and be in contact with nature, enjoy the peace and quiet of this region and also forget about everyday concerns. We are a small Pousada with 7 rooms, all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV with 125 channels + radio stations and wardrobes, we are open to the world since 2017. We have a different concept in terms of accommodation, our goal is that all of our guests feel at home with us.

Welcome, feel at home, these have been the first words from Alex when he opened the door to Buganvilias Guesthouse. We stayed there four days and left with regrets that we have not booked for a longer stay. The guesthouse is charming and a dip in the pool at the afternoon after coming back from some explorations was a pleasure. Breakfast was rich with eggs of our choice and fresh made orange juice and different cakes each day. You will reach many attractive places in short distance and Alex gave us useful ideas where to eat out or where to go. Celmars was our choice for dinner just 2 km away and there is a lot to see at the park of the Arrabida mountains and bays around Sesimbra. Finally, Lisbon is only 30 minutes ‘drive away, which makes it possible to explore the town and stay quiet. The region gets a little busier during the weekends, but there is enough space to maintain the relaxed environment.…

We spent a week and loved it ! Alex is very welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay. Our room was huge, with a terrasse, which is very pleasant for sunset. We would love to come back and, of course, recommend Buganvílias do Meco if you plan to stay in the lovely region of Meco!

We had a great stay with very warm and sincere hosts. The house, the rooms and the garden area with pool are beautiful and you feel like home in the first moment. The breakfast was arranged lovely and we didn’t miss anything. I can highly recommend to book here if you want to stay in a calm and friendly environment. We will definitely come back!

We stayed here for a night as a getaway from Lisbon. It's perfect for couples and has a lovely oy pool area to enjoy the sun in. We arrived by taxi and walked to the beach and to aldeia do Meco, both approx 20 minute walk away. Sunset on the Bach is a must. The owner was very friendly and helpful and also fastidious about cleanliness due to covid. Made us feel very safe! We will be back!

Such a friendly host who was so helpful and welcoming. Lovey grounds with space to dry out kite sur stuff. Lovely breakfast and great local recommendations from the host. Very clean room with comfortable bed. Hammocks and deck chairs around the pool were great and a very well stocked fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks. When we come back to this part of the works we will definitely stay here again!

With some couples we rented most of the rooms in the house. The pool area and the garden is amazing. The entire house was furnished paying a lot of attention to details. Outstanding was the service of Alex and how he made us feel like at home. He really went the extra mile for us. Thank you so much for some unforgettable days. We will definitely come back :D

This was my second stay in Buganvillas guest house and it was absolutely perfect. We stay 10 days and the owner - Alex- is really really nice. The staff is great, polite and smiling. The breakfast is good. The pool warm, the placeis quite. Like the last time we enjoyed our vacations and we will probably coming back!

We stayed for three nights to go Kitesurfing at the lagoa de albufeira. The hotel is a fifteen minute drive away from the lagoon. We loved to stay there. Nice hotel facilities to hang around, clean room, very good breakfast and a really kind owner. We totally can recommend it.

Owned by sophisticated and well-traveled Brazilian and French folks, Buganvilias Meco is what every design boutique hotel seeks to be... authentically chic, global, and still cosy. Alex has the passion of a collector, and a designer's eye to make it all work. The mantelpiece painting from St. Tropez is paired effortlessly with the Moroccan glass perfume bottles. The cork "tree" on the wall created as a cultural nod to the importance of Cork to the region. The 1960's leather luggage a nod to the journey all travelers have taken to arrive here. Guests who leave books for the library are asked to sign them so they become part of the library. The garden is a joy, providing both breakfast strawberries and plants that scent in the evening as well. Spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable beds, COVID safety protocols (including temperature checks) and amazing thoughtful hosts. Could easily spend a month here. …

All the team of Buganvilias Do Meco are really nice with us ! There is a wonderfull garden with swimming pool : perfect to read something and swim a little bit. The bedroom is really nice : clean, calm...with a view for the sunset :) Don't fait a second more, go for it ! All you need, is here !
