We stayed in a one bedroom for 3 nights and it was all pretty perfect. We enjoyed the location in the middle of town with the nearby excellent bakery, mercado, restaurants, ATM, minisupermarket & a few minute walk to the beach. The apartment was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. We were fortunate to be on the 4th floor with an ocean view. Initially we were unsure how to handle the cash deposit but then discovered Xoom (paypal product) which allowed us to do the money transfer at minimal cost. The only downside is that that there is limited support from the front desk as it is only manned for a few hours during the day. We would definitely stay here again.
Booking placed by booking.com where ANY hotel, B&B etc can accept card payments, yet in this day and age this hotel wants a 30% deposit by BANK TRANSFER. Thats probably very easy and costs you nothing if you're based in Portugal, but if you're in the UK or somewhere where your currency is NOT Euros your bank is going to charge you a LOT of money to send a bank transfer in a different currency. They wouldnt accept debit/credit cards or Paypal. Bank transfer only. We're living in 2019 where ANY business small to large can very easily accept any kind of card payment (Especially so on booking.com) so Ive no idea why this hotel (With so much good feedback) is still living in the 1970s.
We have stayed here twice, the apartments are very spacious, modern and clean. Great value for money and excellent location - less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. Clara at reception was very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace has great sea views. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Absolutely all in plus. We booked second time rooms from Cerca! All new, full equiped, lovely beds, big kitchen, nice garden view And sunsets in a nights.fantastic terrace on a roof.few minuta to the Beach And cafe around a corner.usefull garage underground.very helpful people in office.we had wonderfull Holidays in Portugal again.
Great place to stay in the heart of old Sesimbra. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, super rooftop terrace, very well equipped kitchen, washing machine etc. The coffe bar next door serves the most delicios home made icecreams and sorbets. We even got our own parking space in the basement garage, with direct lift to the apartment entrance.
We have visited Sesimbra on 4 consecutive years, we usually stay at the Sana Hotel, but as there were 7 of us in the party this time, we took 3 two bed apartments and a studio at the Cerca Da Vitoria. When you place the initial booking, 30% deposit is required up front. This was a little difficult to sort out, but eventually it all went through. Ricardo the manager kept me informed all through the process with details of how to arrive, he did an excellent job. We arrived 3 hours before the allocated time, but were able to get into 3 of our apartments, so we could leave our luggage and get the shorts on! The accommodation here is very well laid out, very clean and with most of the kitchen/bathroom/towels you will need all supplied. The roof top terrace is very good for breakfast and evening sharpeners before hitting the local fantastic restaurants. Buy your breakfast food from the local market which is only 2 minutes away, every day its full of fresh bread, fruits, cheeses, hams, jam, honey, fish etc. all served by local people selling their own local produce. The location of the property is very central, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, couldn't be better! 2 TOP TIPS! When you check in ask Ricardo for the code for the in-room safe, and also ask for the Wi-Fi, but be aware, the signal is rubbish as there are too many nearby properties all with their own signal, and these get picked up too easily in the flats. Cerca Da Vitoria is brilliant, if you are looking for self catering in Sesimbra, then this is the place.…
Really great place to stay. I booked the studio which was well laid out, efficient and well stocked. It was disturbing, however, to see people walking by right outside this ground floor apt. Even though it was private from the exterior, it weirded me out. Didn't want to draw drapes in daytime. Very convenient location and very clean apts.
This small block of well appointed flats is in the heart of this lovely fishing village situated 40 mins from Lisbon. The welcome was warm and friendly , all the staff were superb. The apartment was clean , well equipped and we had the added bonus of a garage for the hire car.
The apartments were clean, modern, spacious and perfectly located! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return again next year! The beds were very comfortable too and we all found we slept well. Sesimbra Itself is a beautiful quaint little traditional village, amazing sandy beach, friendly locals and only about 45min away from Lisbon on a bus. We found the food mainly fish restaurants, but thats to be expected. Amazing place, we can't wait to return!
Very nice apartment, modern, clean, everything what are we looking, exept wifi, wich didnt work to good (but is free). Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Esspecialy one on back street to Cerce Da Vitoria, where local people eat "O Golfinho" If we back to Sesimbra for sure wet stay in Cerca
