We stayed one night before flying. .The place is very quiet, the staff very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. A shared kitchen allows you to prepare your meal. And if you are lucky, you can see aurora borealis 100% recommended

Stayed two nights here and it was great. The staff were friendly and informative. The food was delicious and the highlight was the Northern Lights tour. We were very fortunate to see a great display but the experience would still have been great if they had not happened.

We stayed here for 5 days and love it. The staff were fantastic and add so much to the experience. The cabin was warm and the bed comfortable. We had all our meals included, the food was home cooked and tasty. We spent a night in the camp under the northern light which is an experience we will never forget....

Remote, quiet and beautiful location at the top of the world. Super friendly staff, lovely food and comfortable lodgings. Great place to use as a basecamp while exploring this corner of Finmark, even got to see the Northern Lights from the guest house's camp in the woods. Would come back at the drop of a hat!

This place really should be better known as it is a very special place run by very kind, caring people. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Not hugely luxurious, but there is no need for luxury when you are surrounded by such beauty and quiet. There is everything you need. There are fantastic wild wilderness walks on the doorstep...

We decided to try this place for our business meeting and it was a very nice surprise. Surrounded by a lake and nature in autumn colours just next to the Russian border made the stay a bit out of the ordinary. Friendly and service-minded staff also made the stay nice. The rooms are not so big but wasn't a problem...

We arrived late in the evening, and were welcomed at the airport of their service van. Our driver was a great guy, really knowledgeable about the area. On the 10-minute drive to Solia we saw our first two reindeer! At Solia we were welcomed by the sweetest girl who quickly got us settled into our cabin. The cabin was spacious...

Reception was closed after 10 pm, but there was a number I could call. Just got an answeringmachine. But this gave a 2.nd number to call. After some...

An hotel strike in Norway meant we had to be relocated and fortunately we were placed here for our overnight accommodation in an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location was stunning overlooking a gently thawing lake bordered by beech trees. Our hosts were friendly and most helpful. As we hadn't eaten, they made some delicious soup on our arrival. Breakfast was...

A very enjoyable and memorable stay near to the Russian border. The cabin was clean, warm and comfortable, but fairly basic. We had great sleeps after walking and touring around the area, especially after the dog sledging at the nearby Snow Hotel. Unfortunately the owner of Sollia Gjestegard sold his dog teams about a year before our stay, so we...
