A big family of 26 people, we had booked 8 rooms on a triple sharing basis. We reached the hotel on the evening of 7th March, the weather was already chilling and as per the weather forecast, the temperature would drop to -5 Degree Celsius (minus 5). The flooring was too cold which was adding back to the chillness. The room heater was only provided for 3 hours and then it was taken back by 10 pm. Now, the hellish experience started, at 12:30 the power was cut-off and the backup/inverter/generator was not started for XYZ reasons. The staff though tried to help but were helpless beyond a point. Not a single lamp was lit and it was pitched dark. Kids were too scared and were in our laps the whole night. We all had to fight for our survival in the bitter-chilling night. The power was restored only in the morning at 6:30 am. The manager was not bothered and did not even check once when we made noises at night. in the morning he came up with all the stupid excuses, which were mere "trying to save my ass" kind. The only piece of advice, DO NOT BOOK this hotel as hospitality is at the toss. NOTHING IS DIVINE, ONLY IF YOU WANT TO MEET THE DIVINE, STAY HERE.

Was absolutely pleased with the ambiance. Staff is friendly and you will be well taken care of. All the rooms offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain-scape. The view i woke up to in the morning was truly surreal. One star less for the food, which was adequate at best. But overall, a very memorable and heartwarming experience. The view alone is reason enough to visit once more!!

Great hotel. As per other guest reviews, the room was very clean and spacious. Two bath towels, two small pieces of body soap. Comfortable firm bed. Pillows. It was warm during the day, so open windows help ventilate. Once the sun goes down though, it gets cold. The blanket was thick and nice but I still wore my jackets. My only gripe was that we did not have hot water at all! Called them, said they were fixing it. Wait 30mins. Waited until past dinner and still no hot (or even lukewarm water)! Told the desk after dinner, and they said they'll take a look. But they didn't send anyone or update me. In the end, I had a cold towel wipe down before bed. Food was reasonably good. Hot and fresh. I wished though that they had a hot water dispenser in the common area and tea. It would add a nice touch to the place, and don't think it'll cost that much more. Room 207 had great views. Two hour return walk to the glacier. Can't miss it, can't really get lost.
