It is a government building that is currently run by a private organisation. Rooms are pretty big with basic amenities ( geyser etc.). No ac, though it is expected as the season is normally Oct to Apr. Staff is extremely help so is the manager. Food served is a buffet with no fancy stuff, but again amidst the jungle what...

I visited Manas National Park in October 2015 during Durga puja. I took a double room at Bansbari lodge. Next day morning I took Jeep safari from the lodge itself. Max six tourists is allowed in a jeep apart from driver, an armed guard and a guide. All arranged by reception staff. Jungle safari went smoothly for around three hours....

We stayed one night at Bansbari Lodge while visiting Manas National Park in Feb, 2016. In one word, the experience was great. Here are our finding: 1. Awesome Location: It is located at a stone’s throw distance from the Manas National Park. There is a nice tea garden in front of the hotel. Overall the location and ambience is nice....

Its basic but a very neat & clean property which provides good food to the boarders.Staffs needs special mention...

Bansbari Lodge is located at the entrance gate of Manas National Park opposite a tea garden. After a bone rattling 30kms drive from Barpetta Road the first view of the Lodge is a real thud!...looks very similar to a run down government guest house. Our checkin service was also disastrous - we had booked the place 4 months back and had...

This is a very remote corner of India and we were grateful to NOT have the big crowds visiting this park. However, this comes at the price that there is no adequate accommodation for the comfort-seeking traveller. Bansbari lodge welcomed us with a wonderful crowd of young staff, great kitchen, and very helpful and personalized service. The infrastructure, however, is...

Come here with an open mind and you will love it ! This is not a sophisticated high end resort, so if that's what you need, give it a miss. What you will get is a spacious, comfortable en suite room, excellent food and staff who are only too pleased to look after you. Arriving late, we were taken on...
