The room is a tent with an additional roof made of straw above the tent. There are two comfortable beds with clean sheets and warm blankets and two bedside tables. Even if it is a tent you have electric lights, fans and plugs. There is an attached permanent (not tent) bathroom to it. The shower even has hot water and... More

The property is very well managed. Rooms/tents are very clean and spacious. There is no locking system but you can keep your stuffs safely inside... More

This is a great place to take the compulsory guard and go for a long walk to watch birds. The experienced guards take you through experienced walks around the jungle and also educate you on the sighted birds. Best is to try and book into their camp which has very good luxurious tents. We didnt know about the good quality... More

Simple but cozy. Remote but worth visit. Services are personalized. You would be away from modern world with no television and cell phone connectivity. Tents are basic. Fresh food with limited variety. Pygmy Hog Centre is a surprise for nature lovers. This centre is taking care of endangered Pygmy's. Rafting at Bhorelli river is another attraction. Nameri National Park is... More

Okay let me start off by saying that staying here was a one of a kind experience. The whole place is really beautiful and rustic. They have two kinds of staying options - Huge tents and cottages (for the less adventurous kinds). P. S. Go for the tents. Everything about this place is amazing - the food, the staff and... More

I have stayed at the Nameri Eco-camp on several occasions. It is a well run camp, located close to the River Jia Bhoroli, beyond which lies the Nameri National Park. The trees around support a good diversity of birds and butterflies. This place is particularly popular with bird-watchers. The rooms are basic but comfortable. December to March is a great... More

We visited Nameri Eco Camp in May 2016 and stayed for two days. We traveled to Tezpur by air and the Eco Camp had arranged for a pick up. While I travelling with a bit of trepidation about the place, the moment we reached, it was a paradise of a place to start the vacation. Serene, in the midst of... More
