We stayed at Uramma Cottages for two nights. What made our stay memorable was Siraj and the staff that looked after us. They were hospitable, sweet and ensured we were comfortable and looked after. No job was too big or small for them. Siraj is a champion, he looked after us right from the beginning and anticipated our every need....

We were a group of 6 friends visiting Hampi on a short visit of 3 days. The stay at Uramma was beyond what we expected. We stayed at the Peshegaar house property, which is located on a quaint by-lane of Anegundi village, walking distance from the Talwar gatta (Talari gatta) ferry crossing. It is perfect if you want to stay...

We had four nights here in Cottage 3 which we loved. The space, the design, the comfort. All staff were excellent, very well trained and Siraj was an excellent Manager and helpful with everything. I had been in Hampi 40 years ago, recognized nothing but the temple and the river. I am so glad I decided not to stay there...

I stayed 4 nights in a charming cottage at the Uramma Cottages, after spending 7 nights across the river in Hampi Bazaar. The cottage was very roomy, extremely clean, quiet fan, very comfortable bed. Lots of counter space for belongings, and two seating areas, one inside and one outside. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a rustic feel. Big bathroom,...

Our experience at Uramma is all about the staff there, Siraj being the jewel in that crown.. We stayed at the Uramma house and it exceeded our expectation by leaps and bounds.. While we loved the place, we loved the people more, from the little kids in the village who walk up to shake your hands and say hello or...

Unless you count the 6am wake up concert from the local temple. But it is a very peaceful oasis away from the tourist crowd in Hampi. It's nice to walk the village street at night. Take the nearby ferry for 10 INR to the Vitalla temple. And then catch a tuk tuk for the more distant sites. Food is tasty...

Our 4 year old wasn't complaining for even a moment, which is a testimony of how good Uramma Heritage Homes is. The location is pivotal for a successful trip as it is walking distance from the boat gate and Siraj, the manager, is a genius who gives the right advice. Having a car will help immensely of course, but local...

UHH is the most homely and comfortable stay here. Have been visiting since 2007.Have seen them grow from there to what they are today. Siraj is an excellent manager who is there to help you with everything and anything. His enterprise and willingness to help is commendable. One night we had not informed him about dinner, but called him uo...

We were a group of 11 (mostly couples) staying at Peshagar house of Uramma Home-stay. We stayed there from Dec 30th, 2016 to Jan 3rd, 2017. It was one of the best experience we have had and we are regular travellers. Everything was just above expectation - stay, hygiene, food, washrooms, local transport and guide arrangements, random requests, etc. This...
