We travelled on the second week of Frebruary. My sister in law booked two non a/c rooms as the weather is not that hot yet. When we entered the rooms we had shock of our lives. These rooms are simply not suitable for human beings. Dust was ingrained on the furniture. There were cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom basin is loose,hence...

We went on a day trip to Bishnupur tourist lodge in January 2017. Had a wonderful lunch. Each n every item we ordered was awesome...starting from Shukto, Dal, Jhujhure Aloobhaja, Egg Curry and the Rice too!! Shukto was one of its kind and unique recipe..we had ordered for an extra plate of Shukto later..real treat at a very nominal price!!

Just came back from Bishnupur.Stayed at Tourist Lodge from 23.01 to 26.01 with wife and 5 year old kid,I have stayed in WBTDC Lodges in recent past and this also turned good fulfilling our expectation , Mr.Atanu Mondal in the front office was extremely helpful in all requests.,He deserves a pat . As usual food is overpriced there, with very less...

I have stayed at Bishnupur Tourist Lodge, owned and operated by West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation,on 7th January,2017 and then at Hotel Grand Hyatt,Mumbai on 12th and 13th January,2017. Both are excellent in their own way. If you expect 5 star deluxe luxury at Bishnupur Tourist lodge, then you are living in a fool's paradise, but within its limitations, the Govt. operated lodge provides...

This year's trip home involved a trip with my elderly parents and wifey and my infant son to Bishnupur. The WBTDC tourist lodge was suggested everywhere, though a bit sceptical opted for the same. Booked two rooms online, AC DELUXE, booking process is simple and smooth. Took a print out of the booking and we were set. A 4 hours...

Recently we have stayed there for a night with family, undoubtedly this is the place to stay in Bishnupur. Food is good, but price is bit high while considering the the quality and quantity. The property needs to focus of maintenance.

If you are planning a short trip to Bishnupur, this is perhaps your best and safest bet. Bishnupur itself is a quaint old town, steeped in history and archaeological exploits. It is also a gateway to the nearby Joypur forest reserve and the wondrous Mukutmanipur. I would categorize this property as budget and/or semi deluxe, and appropriate for families, couples...

We booked this government tourist lodge based on recommendations.. but one is always wary of the upkeep of government tourist accommodations. This lodge surprised us on many counts. First it was great value for money. We booked four standard non AC rooms on ground floor. They came at a tariff of Rs 750. Remember to mention if there are senior...

This is a typical government run establishment with no frills attached. Pros: 1) This is the only decent pace to stay in Bishnupur. There is quite a lot to see here. So you have to overnight in Bishnupur to do justice to the place. You are pretty much forced to stay in this hotel as there are very little options....

considering state Government lodge it is quite good. Hospitality is great which I didn't expect in Government organisation. Food is reasonably good. Property is very good. Cleanliness and linen as well rowels can be improved. Government should take little more care for the best utilisation of the property. Tourist can have great week end here.
