The retreat is really treat for visitors who arrive in Shoja. Mr Mohan is so courteous to take care of guests. The rooms are made of wood and are very nice to live in but the insulation is not there, if your next door guest is talking you can hear it in your room, Banjara will have to take care...

stayed in the cottage - lower floor. The cottage is the one to stay at. Works best if you book both rooms in a floor in the cottage, as then you get a private sun lounge as well. Great view of the green mountains, and generally the food was also good - menu changed everyday. They do give a packed...

Located at beautiful place, good cottage, slightly expensive. Good staff and service. Food was ok I guees if there were more guest they would cook more variety. Couple of places to see and treak. Need a local guide but negotiate for better price.

Out stay at the place was just great. Very polite staff and the place is just wonderful. Amazing views and hikes. You can just walk for a few minutes and you're in the forest. We've met also the owners - a great couple.

Sad trip .... No service . Average food . No help from hotel if by any chance ur car breakdown . Very expensive not worth for 10000 rooms . Don't even thing to go . Bed make noise and wood house is very noisy . But I like to share the guy number who repaired our car in jungle and...

I stayed with my family here for 2 nights. I have stayed in Banjara Sangla before and this property is not as awesome as Sangla. Though its much more remote. They have maintained it well and its pretty clean. Getting to the resort was bit difficult. Last 5 kms from jibhi to Shoja well test your driving skills as well...

Amazing property. Huge and clean rooms with great view.Helpful staff. Delicious food. A very cozy place having an amazing view. A great getaway from city life. Only issue is the approach road to the property. Need to be physically fit.

Recently (May 2016), I stayed with my family here for 3 nights. I have stayed in Banjara Sangla and Banjara Thanedar before. I felt this property rates a tad lower than these two. Getting to the resort was the easy part as the climb down the stairs was easy. Getting back up to the road was the challenge. That itself...

This trip we stayed in all 3 Banjara properties and loved them all. This one too has wonderful views of pine trees and the snowcapped peaks in the distance. captured some great pics of the sunset from here. Lovely walking options in the forest. Staff was helpful and the food was good. would recommend the cottages to the retreat for...
