Pros. Quiet, well furnished, clean room. Plenty of parking. Pleasant surroundings in the village;close to Tunbridge Wells and many SE attractions (especially National Trust properties). Really pleasant pub dining experience (in the pub itself,or a more restaurant type area at the side) in a busy and lively bar. A wide ranging menu, with all the dishes we had over a two night stay... Pleasant room with everything we needed. Bathroom was nicely fitted out with a good shower and toiletries. Had a lovely meal in the pub in the evening, very cozy with an open fire. There was a good selection for breakfast in the morning.

we were "bumped" over to the Pembury Arms and arrived a little disgruntled. However we were welcomed with such a warm style, everything ready for us and escorted to our rooms. Great bedrooms with the usual tv, tea and coffee etc. The bed was so so comfortable. Large well equipped shower room. Food in the pub restaurant was great. Slightly... More

We have stayed here in the past, and still rate this as one of the best pub/inns that we have stayed in. Bedroom with good wi-fi, sensible wardrobe and, heaven, a chest of drawers. Good walk-in shower with hot water, comfortable bed, what more does one need? Well food, of course. The evening meal choice is extensive, indeed we wonder... More

We found it to be very clean & comfortable!! Staff very helpful & friendly. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay!! Pembury is a lovely village & very convenient for Tunbridge Wells. We didn't eat there - next time I think we will instead of the black horse.
