Truly grand in architecture. Great villa converted into an hotel. Smallish, quaint rooms, fairly simple furnishings. The main attraction for us was the view of Rome, elegant dining experience for our group, and the architecture. Room was not air conditioned. Cool at night with window open (it rained some so had to close it a bit) but during evening still... More

We stayed here for a wedding for 3 nights and during our stay they hotel was a big wedding venue but there needs to be an improvement in many areas. Firstly, for around 150 euros we got what seemed like a previous Monk's closet. Compared to the other guests who we knew were staying there it was tiny. Very disappointed... More

I came around 20h, but not able to eat anything. There was a wedding party and restaurant was closed. This hotel is very nice looking outside, especially on web, but doesn't deserve 4 stars. No toilet paper in the room, breakfast was terrible, and most of employees doesnt speak English. Garden around hotel is nice but enough for short walk,... More

The hotel was the venue for a large conference, end of August, sweltering Roman temperatures and over 100 people from all over the world needing to concentrate. It was a big challenge for the Hotel, but we still got magnificent meals and more than adequate settings for the conference sessions. This is the place where the Summer residence of great... More

The hotel clearly got character and the view is amazing too. Unfortunately this is where it stops. The service does not meet a 4 stars hotel. With a bit of investment, it could be a top hotel just outside Rome.

We spent three nights in this hotel, which on the internet looked extremely majestic and elegant. In reality, it was a tired, worn hotel, with very few facilities, and in particular, the outside space and pool area were very small. After arriving on our first night at about 22.00, after flight and car hire delays, it was regrettable that the... More

Beautiful setting. Both the views and the gardens where gorgeous! Small pool available. Location: It is not an easy access from the small town if you have some physical limitation. It will take 15-20 minutes walk to go up from the train station (and it is steep!). The taxi from the station costs us 11 Euros, although it is only... More

The moment you set foot in its grounds, perched high above the wine-town of Frascati, just 30 minutes south of Rome, you sense that this place is old. Built in 1578, in 1773 it became the pope’s. In 1804, it became property of Prince Lucien Bonaparte, the younger brother of Napoleon (who excavated the area and sent truckloads of Roman... More

Beautiful view on top or Frascati mountain overlooking the city and the whole Rome area. The hotel is more set up for conventions and business events. The rooms urgently need maintenance. Rooms to the north must have a stunning view - my wife and I got the back which did not offer anything to see except some roofs.

We stayed here for one night and it was a beautiful hotel from the outside and in the main areas, the room was really clean and tidy which was great. The staff where really helpful too.
