We spent three nights at this stunning, tranquil resort on their Winter escapes package and enjoyed every minute of it. Our room was spacious, elegant with spectacular views. The staff were amazing and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.

We visited the hotel for a short weekend in Feb and instantly fell in love. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in....ever! The spa is beautiful and has numerous showers steam baths and pool. There is also a lovely outdoor garden and park you can take daily walks. It...

This is an excellent resort and more than matched my expectations. A beautiful position, relaxing and extremely courteous and friendly staff. The spa and hotel facilities were excellent and trips that were organised excellent. I certainly would like to return in the near future.

Six Senses is a delight from the moment you arrive. The setting is wonderful, overlooking the Douro River and Peso da Regua. We went on walks through the surrounding vineyards and they arranged a boat trip on the river from Pinhao. The food was excellent, be sure to check with the concierge about special wine dinners in the library, they...

Six Senses has hit it out of the park with their initial venture into Europe. First off is the absolutely gorgeous setting in the Douro River valley, surrounded by vineyards and forests. And the building itself - a historic palace turned country villa turned hotel - is to die for. The spa is a must see/feel experience with hot and...

This might be one of the BEST places I have ever stayed - on every level. It offers something on every level for all of its guests. Incredible wines and the education to appreciate what is being poured. Spa visits that match any level of expectation from casual nails being done to in depth massages and everything in between. The...

The setting of this hotel is incredibly beautiful and should have been ultimately relaxing, however when my husband and I went in August 2016 the place had a lot of kids jumping in and out of the pool, screaming, minimal pool attendants which was not helpful. I would suggest that the hotel invest in a pool for families. The pool...

My goal is fulfilled : I feel much rested and energetic to start the new year. My dream is to come back soon, maybe during harvest time as the landscape filled with vineyards must be outstanding. this would also allow me to enjoy the outside facilities which I was not able to for the obvious reasons. Very nice way to...
