This is definitely a hidden gem nestled near the ocean and directly on a very beautiful lake. This was our second year where we had the opportunity to gather with family and friends. The cottages had all the amenities and the camp sites offered water and power. The owners always checked in to see if we needed anything. They helped build camp fires at night and supplied wood. Canoes and kayaks were also free to use. Our children enjoyed being 5 minutes from Port Maitland Beach as well as the water raft for swimming and jumping on Lake Breeze. Everyone is super friendly and the rates very reasonably priced. We are already looking forward to next year’s visit!

It was the greatest 4 day 3 night stay. We stayed in Cottage 1 and it was so clean, new beds, new bedding, new pillow and before we paid the owners informed us of the previous problem and assure us that there was no bed bugs. We stayed and as the owners informed us about what had happened before our booked trip and we, all 3 decided to stay at the cabin. It was the best vacation ever. We had the best view, quiet campers, and awesome service. I definately will return.

Thank you Quentin and Joanne for the terrific time. You guys are wonderful, caring individuals. Enjoyed our stay

Each year we have stayed at this location which is just outside of Yarmouth. Great location for anyone catching the ferry to Maine in the morning. This place has a small campground and three rental cottages. Over the years we have stayed in both the campground and cottages. The cottages are rustic but are clean. Terry and Debbie are great hosts and will look after any need someone has to make their stay comfortable. What is great about this location is the peace and quiet, other than the sound of loons on the lake. Nothing better than sitting on the porch of the cottage with a drink over looking the lake, listening to the loons. The lake is great for swimming and fishing. My kids fished each day and were always catching small mouth bass or perch. Those who are camping can get a site along the lake, which can be one of the best campsites anywhere. Main washroom may appear dated, but most important they are clean. This is not a large full service campground with daily activities, but there is a good playground for young kids. This location is less than 5 minutes from Port Maitland Beach, and about 15 minutes from downtown Yarmouth.

This is a new campground, so there's a lot of work to do, the people are very nice and friendly, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained, they were in the process of putting in a pool. It is really easy to get to Yarmouth from there so location is good. Sites are really small not private at all. You can get a cooked breakfast in the office which is nice. In a few years it will be a lot better.

I believe you are talking about another campground in the Yarmouth area. This campground has a lake which is great for swimming and fishing. Lake Breeze is not installing a pool and does not serve breakfast in the office.

We called at the last minute for a site on a holiday weekend. The owner was very accommodating and we were given what looked like the last RV site overlooking the lake. This is a family campground with really helpful and nice owners. The dock, float and lake with several very nice playground areas meant that kids from all the families were playing and having a great time all day. It was terrific to see kids playing outside together and having fun! It is not a 5 star campground and doesn't pretend to be. It is more like going to a well kept summer camp with your friends. Everything is a bit rustic but well maintained and very clean. The owners appear to live on site. We had a truly peaceful, pleasant, and comfortable time. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

We stayed here for three days in cabin 3. Basic cabin with older finishes. Lots of things needed repair. The front door was a challenge to open and close. Taps needed to be tightened. The pull out couch was dreadful. No internet. And as lovely as the gentleman was who checked us in, he loves to drive his tractor early in the day. It was a tad loud. The first morning we were awakened to chain saws taking down a tree about 20 feet from our bedroom . I guess it depends on what you are looking for. It's a step up from a tent. The highway runs right by the cabins so it is not the quietest. I don't know that I would be game to return. When my husband returned the key and thanked the lady, she didn't even speak to him or ask how he liked everything. Disappointing.

We stayed at a campsite at Lake Breeze Campground for a week as we have for many years. Not many reviews for this place since it is not the large campground many people flock to. But this place has some of the most scenic campsite anywhere. All sites have a view to the lake and many are right next to the lake where you will seen Canada geese or loons. The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing.
Most sites have water and electric but few have septic. But there is a dumping station so Rv can be accommodating.
The washrooms may appear rustic, but they are clean.
The campground is not large and there are many seasonal campers who are very friendly. The campground is managed by Terry and Debbie who will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
The campground is 15 minutes from Yarmouth which is convenient if catching the ferry to Maine or going for groceries. But it is also 5 minutes from Port Maitland beach. If looking for a quiet scenic place to camp, this is where to go.

Might be fine if you bring your camper, but Cottage 1 has a serious bedbug infestation. I discovered this, to my horror, at 10:30 p.m. on the first night of our stay, when a massive bedbug crawled across the screen of my e-reader. I sat up and turned on the light to discover that my pillow was crawling with bedbugs...as was the bed...as was the headboard...as was my toddler, who was sleeping in the other bed. The cottage doesn't have luggage racks, so I'd put the bags on a bed (against my better judgment) when we arrived. I was up past midnight putting our stuff in plastic bags to transfer to the car, stripping the blankets from my kid's bed and dousing us and the bed in a full can of OFF! in an effort to protect us a little bit. We spent the night with the lights blazing to help keep the bugs at bay, and left by 8 the next morning, as soon as we'd had a chance to shove our pjs in a bag and shower.

I arrived at the office just after it opened to request a refund and the lack of surprise on their faces when I showed them the baggie of bugs I'd collected made it clear that they knew there was an issue and let me rent the cottage anyway. They issued a full refund faster than fast, but I'm appalled. Don't stay here.

Sorry you interpreted our horrified looks as a lack of surprise. We would NOT have rented the cottage had we known. Obviously the previous guest had left a 'gift'. We stripped the cottage immediately after you left, closed it up and set off a bomb, then called Rentokil who came and re-bombed cottage 1 as well as checking the other cottages and our home. We are bug free ! I have tried to contact you to offer a free stay, in any cottage. We sincerely hope to see you again, and continue to apologize for your terrible experience.
