This was my second visit to L'Auberge... first was some 8-10 years ago. The rooms are very modern, despite the historic building, situated a brief walk from the train station and from the foot of the funicular that takes you to the thermal baths. Also close to the casino and some historic sites, yet, since Spa is small, all is... More

It seems like Belgium hasn't caught the green mentality yet. They're so intent on cashing in on the ridiculous concept of bottled water in a country with good tasting tap water. Initially, our waiter couldn't deal with my inability to speak French (for those of you thinking I should be speaking French because after all that is the country's language,... More

We ate here in the restaurant during a trip to Spa. We'd had a busy day working in the hot sun (yes, it is hot sometimes) and drove to Spa for a meal. We hadn't booked but got a table right away. The place was full of motoring enthusiasts, many of them British. We went for the three course set... More

We stayed at the hotel over a weekend while visiting the SPA circuit, I had stayed before Since then it appears the rooms have been upgraded and are nicely finished with comfortable beds and an excellent bathroom with very nice shower facilities. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice and good quality. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the... More

4 of us took dinner and all were impressed. Prawns in a great lobster sauce. Veal kidneys in dijonnais I loved though very very rich. Good service, digestif on the house and realistic pricing. A top evening.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The dining area is very pretty. The breakfast was delicious. The strange thins is that you need to take the staircase or elevator at the back of the dining area to access the rooms. Once you know where to go it's OK even if people are dining.

The booked standard room is modern and functional. The level is above average for a 3 star hotel (for example fittings by Grohe, etc.) We note as a very positive. The windows insulate the noise from the street. All rooms are facing the street. Specifically, the access to Hotelreception and to the rooms through the middle of the hotel's restaurant.... More

Good restaurant. No lobby (it is the restaurant) which is also the reception. Room rather bare but clean. Location is great. Service is nice. Breakfast is rather standard but at least a nice view of the city square while eating your meal. Okay stay.

It is not the first time I stay at this hotel, and time after time, I've always been pleased by the hotel itself and by the staff. Locales at the real y centre if Spa you are at less that 300 meters of the elevators giving you to the famous thermes, and about 500 meters of the casino. For sure,... More

We had dinner here while staying in a different hotel in Spa. This is a good choice among the limited availability of dining alternatives in Spa. Traditional French cuisine with some local ingredients, well executed, in a friendly environment and a very cozy setting.
