A bit strange because we dealt with reception and owners via intercom and never spoke to anyone apart from the breakfast staff No parking for are motorbikes but the rooms were very pleasant it's probably just because in the centre of spa it was more money Paul

You should know that there is no reception. Entrance to the hotel is a step in off the street. You must press a buzzer to speak to someone and gain access. The room key with wifi password and door key code is left in the hallway. The room was basic, but comfortable. The staff were friendly. Clean sheets and towels...

Booked this hotel as others in town in which I have previously stayed were full. The location is first rate and the rooms clean, so OK for a night if needs must. The mattress was enclosed in a waterproof membrane, with the sheet directly on top, hospital-style. Not too comfortable. The taste-free decor in the rooms looks better at night...

We stayed here for one night whilst on a european motorcycle tour. The hotel is family run and has a beautiful feel about it. The owners can not do enough for you and are overly helpful without being annoying. The rooms are beautiful and quiet with everything you could need, plus spotless. We ate in the hotel and had the...

I booked this hotel six months in advance. On arrival I was told there had been a mistake and there was no room for me... A room in a more expensive hotel nearby was found for me, which I had little option but to accept.

The rooms are OK, especially the brick-like walls in some of the rooms are nice. Old fashioned windows make them very cold in winter though. There is no real lobby - you have to visit the candy store next door, which makes check in etc pretty tricky, especially as the people in that store are typically helping candy customers when...

If you are looking for an affordable and clean, tidy place to stay in an ideal location so that you can discover the town at any time you choose walking, this is the place to go to. Don't expect twenty-four hour pampering. On the contrary you will be given a code number via the intercom and will find your key...

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel . It's adequate for comfort and ideal for location. The lack of reception was an problem to begin with but there is an intercom which rings the owners mobile who is very friendly and owns the next door chocolate shop. The location is 2 mins walk to the stair lift to the theame...
