Molskroen is probably the best choice for a short stay by the sea. It is very comfortable, and the bath reminded me of a mini-spa. It's less of a hotel feel, and more of an apartment feel, without all the noisy neighbors. You won't get super-luxurious amenities, but for a simple and honest operation, it should meet -- or exceed... More

Very quaint and well positioned hotel. Walking distance to seaside and village. Two areas to meet, have drinks or dine. Staff was fantastic, very helpful, and great personalities. They even opened the kitchen 45 min early for us so we could have breakfast before catching an early morning flight! Would love to come back with my wife!!

Stayed to nights at Molskroen in July. We have stayed in Molskroen some years ago and did look foreward to a new visit. The room was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Luckily there was two extra beds in our room so we got extra pillows. There was two garden chairs in the room, not very comfortable. We did not have... More

The best restaurant I have ever been in. The food and the way it was served was like a fairy tale. They go for a Michelin star next year, and I hope they will get it. I'm looking forward to next time visit

We were here for two nights. Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds but the pillows were very thin. No extra pillows either. If I am picky I also thought that the disposables in the bathroom was not top of the line. The breakfast is ok, but not excellent. You have to eat dinner, though. Beautiful environment around the hotel.... More

The Molskroen Strandhotel is new and very nicely designed modern hotel. It is across the street from the beach but we did not find that there was that much added value from this aspect. That said, everything was nice and of high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had reserved two nights and had to shorten to one... More

It can be a bit confusing to know which hotels are referred to in the reviews regarding these establishments. There are are in fact two hotels, one is Molskroen, the more expensive one, and one is Molskroen Strandhotel which is a new hotel not far from the old one and not as expensive. This review is about the latter where... More

Our stay at Molskroen in May 2015 was absolutely wonderful! The rooms held the typical danish hotel room standard, which is good, but old. The best rooms are in the corners, because you have a bigger garden and less noice. The restaurant is one of north-Denmark´s best restaurants and they serve perfect gourmet food! Quite expensive, but well worth it!

nice hotel with top restaurant. I had a great view on the sea. The towels were very soft and there was a bath top standing free in the bath room. Staff is very friendly. I would certainly come back if Im in the area.

This kro is ten minutes drive outside Ebeltoft, just a stone throw from the beach. We stayed in junior suites that are a row of townhouses on the side of the main building. A small garden i front and two floors with two bedrooms. Unfortunally is there a lot of tall trees shading for the sun in the afternoon. If... More
