I had stayed in the area twice before and had made a point of eating there this time we decided to stay for 4 nights the couple who own the auberge are professional, their services given are top notch the room upstairs was small--we expected that but very confortable the bathroom to the contrary was large and more than adequate parking...

Thank you for this description. Our rooms, our menu are indeed small but very pleasant: we are then a quality concentrate hotel-restaurant :-) We will be pleased to welcome you another time.

Deserving of their Michelin status - the restaurant is tastefully decorated in soft colours and the result is of a warm, gentle ambience. We stopped for lunch on our way to catch our ferry at Cherbourg. We are still talking about it! I loved the oeufs en cocotte with some chorizo and our main course (fish) was excellent, followed by...

Thank you for all this. Nothing else to say because you even mention our practical information (closed on some days, better to book directly, etc...) !

We had stayed here two years ago on a previous trip to Britany. We like its ambiance and the comfortable if a little small rooms. On our last visit the restaurant was closed, but the hotel recommended an excellent restaurant in the next village. On this occasion we dined in house and the food was just perfect. Breakfast was also...

Thank you for your comment. We particularly enjoy your second last remark. And please note indeed that our restaurant is closed on Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Sunday evening in winter. We hope to see you again on a next trip.

Excellent service from couple who own hotel. The restaurant serves a small menu but the excellent food is beautifully presented. Our room was fine - absolutely spotless but rather small. We would warmly recommend this hotel.

The Auberge de la Sélune, located right on the river with a view onto the garden and the water , The hotel offers great, clean rooms, outstanding gastronomy and excellent service, too bad our stay was so short (we were on a stopover to Brittany). Furthermore was it no problem whatsoever to bring our 3 dogs (usually well behaved), which...

We spent two nights here we had the last room available and were told in advance that it was small. It was very clean and the facilities very good . The food in the restaurant was outstanding the best on our stay in France. Presentation excellent and attention to detail. Amuses bouche to start with and petits fours after dessert....

Thank you for this pleasant comment that shows that you can have a very nice service even in a small room, when the work is done with the heart! We hope to see you another time, perhaps in one of our superior rooms overlooking the garden so that you have another view of what we propose.

We stayed in the garden room. Lovely decorated, nice bed. We had the three course meal, which was excellent. Nice bottle of wine. Really nice people. It has been the second time here for us and it still was as good.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in! We booked it for one night as a break from driving between the far west coast of Brittany and the ferry at Cherbourg - how I wish we had booked a whole holiday here! We arrived early evening after a long drive - the hotel is right in the...

Madam. How can you be more precise?? I guess your comment will be very useful to a lot of people here because it really describes precisely everything. I would just add one or two things. First the room you had is one of the two we have in the garden. All are not like this, and then we alas cannot...

We spent 2 nights in the Auberge de la Selune in Ducey, a lovely village etape in Manche in Normandy. We opted to upgrade to a garden room which was in a small block of three bedrooms in the hotel garden overlooking the river. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with the door leading directly on to the...

Very good location in a beautiful village, with river views. Very pleasant and helpful owners, who were more than happy to help us. Everything about this hotel and restaurant wowed us.
