My partner and I arrived in Alcobaca late and without reservations for a place to stay. What a wonderful surprise to have found this hotel brimming with old world charm... and for less than an AirBNB! The innkeeper was super friendly and very accomodating to all our needs! He even chilled and sent up a bottle of wine for me...

An average hotel with a modest lobby and a friendly staff, the hotel doesn't look very attractive on the outside. It's a bit oldfashioned, but the rooms and the breakfastroom appear more modern. I have been there several times because it was so cheap and the room was quite spacious. For a small amount of money we got a room...
