The hotel is somewhat dated but at this price you can't complain, you get what you pay for. For a budget traveller it's great. It's clean, rooms and bathrooms are fairly spacious, free wifi cable tv and breakfast is reasonable. Good deal for your money.

Bedroom is very bad, all thinks are old and the smell of carpentry terribly. The bed, furniture, carpentry all the thinks have to be renovated. They are very rigid with the breakfast hours and don't permit any anticipations. Don't recommend any one.

The hotel has a wonderful location overlooking the monastery. It is also peaceful, very central to restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is very comfortable and staff very friendly. We give a very strong recommendation to stay here and discover not only the town itself but also surrounding areas.

This hotel is situated in the center of Alcobaça, in front of Alcobaça Church, the biggest one in portugal. The hotel is very clean, confortable rooms and tasty breakfast, good options to eat for the price.

Room had strong old stale smell, we had to keep windows open in order to be able to stay in the room. Furniture, equipment, bed covers, curtains were at least 20-25 years old, dirty, and smelly (have some photos). Mattresses old and uncomfortable. TV was antique, the few channels that it had barely worked. TV & AC remotes had to...

This is an incredibly dated and basic hotel. While there is nothing wrong with basic in my book, there were too many essential things missing. Both the hotel and room were like stepping back in time, the furnishings in our room were very dated and also in places stained. The bed was probably the worst we've ever slept on, very...

The hotel was very accommodating for all of our needs with many rooms having a view of the monastery. It could not be better placed for being close to the centre and of course the monastery itself. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did finally arrange 3 evening meals in the hotel due to the quality...

Offered a "suite" as we were 3 and according to the receptionist, that was the only available room for 3. For 90 euros for 1 night we got a massive spacious 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms with an impressive view, but that's were the positive ends... Stained carpet, no curtains, wires hanging out of sockets, broken lights, broken mini fridge, and...

It may seem weird to give 5 stars to a 3-star hotel, but it does it's job so well: it claims to be 3-star, and it does it very well! My room was large with a great view to the monastery. Also the bathroom was large, and clean. The furniture is old but it fits the style. The bed was...

We paid 45 euro for a room with breakfast included. For this price you couldn't do better! The room was one of the largest "cheap hotel" rooms we have seen with an absolutely huge bed. Everything was very clean. Wifi is free and fast. Parking is free. The hotel is located directly opposite the Monastery so if you are lucky...
