Booked a week at the beginning of November and got a great nightly rate for this hotel. We booked room only and were given a lovely, nicely furnished and newly refurbished room on the sixth floor. The room was cleaned every day and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The only negative comment I can make is that you have... More

We booked in here for a few days while house hunting over the border and could not have picked better. We had room only, large room, comfortable bed, fridge, lovely bathroom with great hot shower. No breakfast simply room but the price reflected that and was an excellent price, lower for winter. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Spacious room. Great master bedroom, but beds in de livingroom are very hard to sleep on. Somewhat outdated furniture. Wifi is great and staff is helpfull. Inside pool is very small. Outdoor pool area is great. Sun from about 11:00 to 18:00 in the pool area. Beach is close about 5 min. walking.

Stayed here in early September. The accommodation was reasonable but felt a bit over-priced at €100 per night. The town itself was still very busy at this time which we weren't expecting. The choice of half-decent restaurants was also limited.

We just arrived at Alba and just after 24h of stay this "hotel" is having a truly negative impact in our sought-after vacation. UNCLEAR PRICING We were about to book via Booking, but after a call to the hotel we decided to book via the website after being advised that it would be cheaper. It turns out it wasn't. The... More

Stayed there for 1 week this August, in the peak of the summer holiday season. During this time, Monte Gordo becomes a very sought location, so be prepared to have some problems finding a place to eat at night, or moving in the main boulevard. Also, be aware that free parking simply does not exist in the village. Wherever you... More

The hotel is ok. We have stayed in 1bedroom apartment. The room is big as well as the living room with two sofa beds. We had breakfast at the apartment so we cannot review the hotel breakfast. The pool is nice for kids, but honestly, when you've got a great beach nearby who needs swimming pool?! The bathroom is nice... More

Really well presented hotel with a recent re vamp. Really clean and tidy with great facilities including pool and spa. Central location only 1 minute from the centre of monte gordo, but in a quiet area so no noise at night. 2 minute walk to the beach.

The top floor rooms are very modern with good balconies and comfy beds. The pool is warm because it is very shallow. Breakfast is quite cheap for a hotel and offers plenty of choice. Check in at 4pm is pretty late and the staff seem pretty rigid about this rule.

This hotel is a short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. We checked in and my wife had lost the key to her suitcase. The man at the desk did everything he could to locate a bolt cutter. The breakfast was AMAZING! I can't understand the review that portrayed it negatively. Fresh squeezed OJ, lots of different fresh breads,... More
