Stayed here with my wife for a week from 6th April. It's in the middle of the old town where some of the hotels and hostals are inaccessible to cars so if you don't know where it is or it's late at night if can be quite difficult to find. Our taxi left us at the hotel Capri at 23.40. I don't think the driver knew where it was either. After looking around a few streets and very few people around we were lucky enough that a man passing stopped and spoke reasonable English and was able to direct us to the hotel. Once you know where it is there's no problem but it's in the middle of the old town and totally unreachable by car. Lots of steps up and down through the narrow streets. The hotel itself is small basic clean quiet and comfortable. It's actually more of a hostal than a hotel. The shower is quite small but manageable. There are quite a few stairs in the hotel so I would not recommend it to anyone with limited mobility. Location is excellent. Just about five or ten minutes from everything. Breakfast in the morning is typical European. We enjoyed it. A variety of cereal croissants bread cheeses meats orange juice tea coffee etc. If you are reasonably mobile it's a great wee place to stay but between the steps in the surrounding streets and stairs inside (no lift) it's definitely not for anyone whose mobility is limited. …

Great little place - our room was very simple, no telly for example, but there's WIFI and it's clean and a well run happy little hotel. It's well situated and the breakfasts are good - quite simple, but not stingy. Beds aren't massive (I'm quite tall) but we still slept very well. The Ukrainian owner - Vital - is a gentleman. He had a sarcastic, dry wit that always cracked us up, and was always extremely good humoured and obliging for anything that we needed. I would definitely go again.

I have stayed at this nice place for 5 days and surely come back again. By the end of the week I felt myself as I was at home. I liked fresh backery stuff they always did in the morning, cool spaces and rooms, amazing terrace in the morning and especially late evening. Stars, old city, smell of burnt wood and sea views, and being very very close to the stars. The friendly couple who work there make this place feel like home.

Everything is in walking distance to: sea 100 m, coffee and restaurants - 150-200 m, maybe a little out - beach shopping. A choice of beaches (large, smaller and very small). Breakfast modest. Next starts with a good trekking route. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Three friends wanting to go and meet the beautiful Tossa for the weekend stayed in this humble mix between hotel and B&B. The owners are a lovely and funny couple who are very open to serve. Right in the heart of Tossa, between the main beach and the most beautiful creek/beach, Platja D'Escodolar. Rooms are nothing special but in Tossa the beauty is outdoors in the beaches and walking this medieval beach town. Breakfast could be more diverse tough.

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in a twin en suite room and we were not disappointed. It sits within the old castle, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast which was served in the breakfast room was good. The rooftop terrace is open all the time and has great views, seating and sun loungers. There is free access to 2 computers in the communal area near the door and a comfortable seating area where you can relax and get out of the heat. When we arrived we were given a parasol to take to the beach and use for the duration of our stay which was a lovely touch. Excellent value for money.

We loved our stay at Fonda Lluna in gorgeous Tossa De Mar. It is a simply decorated b&b, but you definitely get your money's worth. Situated right in the heart of the old part of Tossa with 1 min walk to the beach. We live in Barcelona, so it's just a matter of time before we come back to Fonda Lluna. Thanks guys!

We booked the Fonda Lluna on a complete whim on a last minute trip to Barcelona as the town, Tossa De Mar, is a short drive (about 2 hrs) from the city. We adored it and were very pleasantly surprised! It was excellent value for money. For the price we paid, we really couldn’t have asked for more. It’s located right in the heart of the old town with views of the sea and beaches on both side of the hill. It’s an easy ten minute walk from the bus stop, even with baggage. With the Fonda Luna as our base, we were easily able to explore the nearby hiking trails, see all the sights, and take evening walks along the beach. Breakfast is included but is basic – coffee, croissants, juice, cereal, boiled eggs etc. Again, considering the price you’re paying we found this to be a nice bonus. The bread was baked and brought in fresh every day. The rooms all have wi-fi and we didn’t have any issues with the speed or connection. Our room was impeccably clean, as was our en-suite bathroom and our balcony over looked the Mediterranean. Some evenings we picked up wine from the local market and enjoyed it on the rooftop terrace. The family that run the Fonda Lluna were friendly, helpful and attentive. We stayed during April when the town was quiet and so didn’t have any noise issues and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the old town at night. I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel and will certainly make it my base when travelling to this part of the world in the future.…

Firstly we arrived and found no where near to park Then the access to the accomodation was very difficult so not practical for older people or disabled person The rooms were in need of modernising and a lick of paint The breakfast was poor and considering there were hardly any customers very disappointing The view from the terrace was great of the old town But on the whole I would t recommend this place

This pension has one of the best locations in Tossa de mar . Almost in the middle of everything - a few steps ,from a wonderful beach ,and right in the middle of all the fine shops and restaurants in Tossa de Mar. Ask for a room with a balcony ,and you'll have a first class wiew of the mediterranian. There is an excellent roof terrace ,from where you can see the ocean , the old castle and actually you dont have to go further :-). Well worth the money ,but dont expect a luxury room , the breakfast is very bad - so go to a nearby cafe instead. Dont buy the half pension deal...it is not worth the money as there is so many great menudeals in Tossa de mar. The menu for the pensioners is a special menu at Restaurant Marina , wich is owned by the family, and it is nothing like the real restaurant menu! Very low budget - hardly any food on the plates.last word of advice - if you go by car notice that there is not any acces and you will have to ask the owner for a free parking space , because it is very expensive to parc in Tossa de Mar. And you will have to be a very good driver:-)…
