Worst place I have ever stayed. Will not return. Bungalow was dirty and small. My friends had cockroaches. Their bungalow was more dirtier than mine. Very small ,know where to put your cases. Beds never changed on the 11 days we were there. Clean towels on the odd days. The entertainment was so so as to the pool bar closing at 9.30. I’m guessing the only good thing about the place was the happy hour 12-1 and 6-7 even that was a hit and miss with who ever was serving u. Disarano was bogof 1 night of our stay and never again. Staff was slow on the bar hate to see them in the height of the season. Hotel was in the middle of know where had to get a taxi everyday. Never again.
There was 8 of us altogether that stayed here in 4 different apartments ., my friend’s apartment was adjoined to ours by a door and was behind us and even though we paid the same price there apartment was bigger than the other 3 .. we stayed here for 11 nights and did have cleaners every other day but we received no extra toilet rolls only the occasional clean towel and no clean bedding the whole stay! Nothing was dusted or cleaned as I had the same cobweb on my lamp to the wall the whole of my stay and the bedside shelf was filthy .. We had cockroaches on 3 different occasions .. 4 out of the 8 that stayed ended up with coughs . The bar closed early before 10pm that was stated and you got no warning just a plastic cup waved in your face if you had any drinks remaining in a glass .. the entertainment finished at 9.30 -9.45 on the two evenings it was on . Notice in your rooms asking for complete diligence from 11pm felt like it was a retirement village not a holiday resort our age groups was from 40-55 so we wasn’t expecting to party all night but to sit outside and chat .. the food was average.. never any spoons on tables at breakfast for yoghurts or cereals or to stir your hot drinks which were of an acquired taste!! We tried to talk to a member of staff but there English was very limited and was made to feel like we didn’t matter and ignored .. we certainly will not recommend or return…
I was extremely disappointed, (or very angry) by the way I was treated by the Cay beach Princess They got GREEDY. I had booked my accommodation early in Sep 2022 & got my room with deluxe pool for approximately €1000 for 7nights. Which was good and was so looking forward to coming back until last week I received an email to say that my card details were wrong & to contact them within 48hrs. So I called & called sent lots of emails etc & of course no reply. 35-40 times a day. Eventually one of the evenings I called & got through & I was delighted because now I can give the guy on the phone my credit card details which his reply was we don’t deal with that here you will have to contact reservations in the morning & give them your details I was like can you not make a note of it on the system & his answer was NO. So I called & called & sent emails yet again for someone to contact me so I can give them my updated credit card details & of course no answer. So then 7 days before going on my holidays I received a email at 6 pm in the night to say my Booking Was Canceled because I didn’t update my details. 🤬 Of course I called at 7pm that night frustrated because I’m now flying out in 7 days time & now I’ve no where to stay & guess what the same guy answered & of course there is nothing he could do. High season and nothing available make it very difficult I was so angry when he told me to pay when ordering and not use free cancelation??What?? So everyone be aware they are trying to SCAM people. They obviously overbook and take the best buyer. So Disgusting & Disgraceful STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL…
The place needs a complete overhaul.Although it was clean, the towels in the bathrooms were really old and worn out. A lot of the sun beds were broken. Area of swimming pool was baracaded by a dustbin. …..which needed attention. The breakfast was not the best.I had m Melon one morning that had a distinct taste of onion over it. The bacon was frazzled up one morning and inedible……..Tables were not laid properly, always asking for cutlery or napkins. The best option would be self catering….It was quite depressing.Finally…Caybeach. Has NO BEACH………it’s out on a limb. The taxi service is the best option for getting to decent restaurants. very disappointed.
Pros: Accommodation is in beautiful Bungalows, they come in different sizes etc but they're all superb. The housekeeping staff visited our bungalow every day. We went B&B and the breakfasts were different every day. Some days there was even bottles of bubbly 🍾 and the chef will cook up a omlet for you to order. There is a huge selection of breads from the buffet, as well as cheeses, cold meats, yogurts, fruit and loads more. I normally went for scrambled eggs and toast. There's 3 pools, including one heated pool, and a happy hour twice daily in the pool side bar. We ate an evening meal on two occasions during our week-long stay and on both occasions it was lovely and reasonably priced. It's ideally suited to couples and families who want a quiet and relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings and with great staff. Cons: If it's a party holiday you want, this is not the place for you. Bar closes at 10pm and you'd need to get a taxi into the town. Summary: We have booked again for next year, which is something I've never done before on any other holiday. The staff were all very professional, and Natalie in the bar is a lovely person and we enjoyed her company. Most of the staff spoke English and their professionalism always shone through.…
after getting a very distressed call from my partner in the early hours William on reception had given my room card to another guest which gave them access to my room and to walk into my bedroom where my partner was in bed unwell. This is after He had heard banging on our doors and windows, shouting from outside, this then stopped for a few minutes and then the stranger entered our room and into the bedroom where they refused to leave initially, was very drunk and aggressive. The fact that this person eventually left the room and my partner was left unharmed doesnt excuse the lack of competence and security that we experienced at your facility. Whats more frustrating is another one of our group had returned home early another day, we had all the information to get her a spare room key as her room mate stayed in town with the key, we gave names, number, booking information, everything you could need to get a key for her room and we were still refused, yet in the middle of the night, a drunk aggressive guest was handed a card to our room with no questions asked and anything could have happend. I am absolutley DISGUSTED with this level or service. Any thing could have happend that night and someone could have seriously been injured, I hope you can appreciate the seriousness of this An hour before we left we were offered some food and a drink we specifically said this was to be the end of this and it was simply a good Will gesture as the coach left an hour after this to the airport. Jet 2 now state the hotel made us sign a receipt they claim was acceptance of compensation- lies from the hotel If a male had been let into a females room probably a whole different reply from you !!!…
The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Firstly, it’s quite disappointing that I feel the need to write this review, being in the industry myself I am a huge believer of allowing the hotel / holiday reps to rectify any issues before posting a negative review which could tarnish the hotels reputation and overall impression for future guests arriving. We stayed in room 207-B, and the condition of the room was inhabitable. Stains on the sofa, the electricity socket hazardous, stains on the wall, light fittings hanging off, rust in the bathroom (attached pictures). I complained to reception and Jet2 who said there was no other room available to move to, I gathered the impression the hotel thought we was asking for an upgrade, we was not - we simply wanted the room we had paid for but to be at a standard where you feel comfortable especially whilst staying for a week. The receptionist was extremely rude, unbeknown to them I am fortunate enough to speak the language and understand word for word (fluently) what was said - which was not nice. I have seen mixed reviews on the teams attitude and I can confirm the negative ones are surprisingly accurate. Jet2 offered a change of hotel but we had to pay £600 plus a £50 admin fee which we was obviously not going to do. We were obviously not expecting the world, the accommodation was cheap enough and this is a 3 star hotel (allegedly) but the basics such as cleanliness and overall hospitality was missing. I have no doubt I will receive the generic “thank you for your feedback we will look into this” response. I would strongly recommend choosing somewhere else, there are plenty other self catering villas in the area.…
Take no notice of the bad reviews on here, this place is a gem on the island We stayed for Xmas and new year in a premium bungalow They have everything you need for a comfortable stay Isobel on reception really lovely. All the housekeepers are busy and cleaning all day. We always left a little tip It’s a 3 star so don’t expect luxury but it’s perfect if you want no frills and value for money Pools are amazing, lifeguards on the ball safety maintained Entertainment twice a week but it’s 6 euros to playa de ingles where all the action and the beach are Yumbo centre is amazing Fantastic holiday with the best weather Thank you Caybeach will definitely come back Well done to the team
Just returned from a 7 night winter break. We were given bungalow 218 by the pool and were really pleased with this smaller but modern accommodation. It was clean, comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Maid service was spot on too. We did not eat at restaurant but ate meal from pool bar and it was delicious. Drinks were pricier than in beach resort but good quality. Pool was beautiful but freezing although managed a swim. This is a lovely hotel and definitely worth the price and location was perfect. Easy walking access to everywhere.
Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Beds are comfy and showers good. Towels and bedding changed on 5 of 7 days We had a premium bungalow near pool bar, very handy for us and loungers and table/chairs on terrace No issue with noise whilst we were there Would be happy to return
