This hotel is wonderful. It's one of the very few places we've ever gone back to, (as we love to explore new places every year). The staff are super friendly and helpful; the food is excellent; the big pool is lovely; the bar is well-stocked; the rooms are good. There's a live act of some description every night, which is great fun. The hotel is just large enough to have everything you need to hand, but small enough to feel personal. I also like the fact that it's not in the main town centre - so it's peaceful at night - but you can be there in 5 minutes in a taxi; (and the taxis are very cheap - I did wonder whether they'd made an error charging us!). There are also some nice restaurants a short walk away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL! I'd also like to give a big shout out to Emilio Garcia - who is so helpful and thoughtful - and has all the right connections too! He even managed to organise a wet shave for me when (apparently) every barber on the island was fully booked!…

Have nothing but great things to say about Club Maspalomas. Had read the reviews carefully beforehand and were not disappointed. Everything just works smoothly, in a low key way and with minimum fuss. Room was as described (we took a double deluxe) and the food (we did half board) was excellent and good value. We enjoyed the pool and made good use of the excellent gym. As others have said, the staff are delightful; very friendly and efficient, no silly rules and regulations, just there to ensure you have a good time. Evening entertainment was very good indeed (and we're not usually big fans). Also liked the fact that there was a good mix of guests, age wise and nationalities. We have stayed down on the front before but actually enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle and the walk to the beach along the riverbed is pleasant. Would not hesitate to return and may well do next year. The weather in early March was wonderful!…

Thank you to the wonderful people at the Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa. Just came back from a week staying there with my husband - had a wonderful time. The food in the restaurant - lovely and fresh and very enjoyable. Loved the breakfast. The cleanliness of the room, gym, restaurant and pool area - spot on. Friendly staff that go the extra mile - definitely. Also enjoyed the evening entertainment and the paella and sangria masterclass! The staff/management team should all be very proud of themselves! Now some practical stuff: - Taxi rank and bus stop just outside the hotel - Supermarket 5/6 min walk - Maspalomas centre/beach 20 min walk - the hotel has a daytime shuttle bus but we preferred to walk - Not much in the immediate vicinity in terms of bars and restaurants but that isn’t an issue. Holiday world is nearby - It’s basically a funfair/bowling alley with some bars and fast food places. Not my thing. There’s also a Chinese, an Italian and a Lebanese? restaurant nearby - we didn’t eat at any of them as we didn’t like the look of them. There is however a lovely small family run restaurant 5 mins away (New Rustico) - definitely worth a visit, but you need to book in advance. Golf club is within a short walk also. A lovely course very well maintained. We ate there one night, it was very quiet, but the food was quite good. In summary - great place, don’t hesitate to book.…

Our stay at Club Maspalomas was fantastic. The hotel itself is clean, modern and easy to navigate. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had everything required, ranging from ensuring there were clearly labelled vegan options at breakfast to assisting with taxi and car hire, luggage storage prior to airport transfer and anything that was asked was never too much trouble. The location is great - 30 min walk or 5 min (5 euro) taxi down to Maspalomas beach and nice restaurants on the water front.

An outstanding hotel, with splendid staff and every facility we could wish for. Emilio in the restaurant made us instantly welcome and organised the entertainment brilliantly. The food is varied and excellent and the service top notch. The suites are beautifully designed, with a double bedroom, a sitting room and a bathroom. All very comfortable. The swimming pools and Spa are perfect and the gym was popular with many guests. It’s a small compact site, not too much walking and set in a lush, attractive part of the town, far away from the high rise hotels of the beach area. There is a free shuttle bus to the beach and back several times a day. It is a peaceful and calm hotel, with no silly rules and staff who just want you to have a lovely holiday. Wow… from the second we walked into reception we knew we were in for a lovely stay and we were not disappointed. Everything about this resort is just fantastic. The living accommodation is very nice, comfortable and has everything you should need. They all have pleasant gardens / courtyards with sun beds and table and chairs. Wherever you’re located in the resort you’re only ever a couple of minutes away from reception, the bar, restaurant and swimming pool. We stayed in apartment 148 which was South facing so had the sun all afternoon and evening. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was fantastic. The variety was great and everything was cooked and presented with love. We’ve only been home one day and we’re already missing Enriques omelettes and pancakes on a morning. The swimming pools were heated, the main pool was a comfortable 28 degrees and the hydro pool was 34 degrees which was lovely to use early evening. My wife and I also treated ourselves to a full body Swedish massage and it was sensational, a beautiful ambiance and lovely staff. Talking of staff, I cannot speak highly enough of literally every single employee. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were just so lovely and attentive with everything we needed. Overall I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice relaxing few days away. We have already started looking to hopefully return in October. Had an amazing stay at Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa in early March. It is perfectly situated for a peaceful holiday, but still within easy reach of the resort centre (20 minute stroll, all flat). Our accommodation was exactly as described, and we made good use of the sunbeds on our terrace. If you prefer to lie around the heated pool, there was always lots of sunbeds available. Loved many of the little extra touches such as live music at breakfast and ice cream in the afternoon. Three things make it extra special: 1. The standard of the food was exceptional, and in our opinion, as good, if not better than many 5 star hotels we have visited. 2. The evening entertainment was of a high standard, and was on every night of the week. So much so that during our 11 night stay, we did not venture out of the hotel in the evening - unheard of!! 3. Last but by no means least, the staff. Each one of them did a fantastic job. They provided a first class service, very attentive, and always smiling. The host Emilio Garcia was truly amazing. He took the time each day to chat with us, often giving us good advice about where to visit and when - can't praise him enough. Another excellent stay here - in what must be our eighth trip to this simple, quiet, comfortable and perfectly run hotel. Stayed in 146 this time, with a secluded garden and hot tub - really relaxed and lovely! Welcomed by friendly staff, and a glass of ice cold cava, is always a good way to start your holiday! The small bungalow like room was immaculately clean, well maintained and couldn’t really be faulted! The housekeeping staff are so friendly, as are all the staff, but they are a lovely group of ladies and a huge asset to the team. Small living room, tv and fridge and tea and coffee making facilities; comfortable beds and great bedroom with a shower room complete the accommodation. We enjoyed dinner as well as breakfast and the food was very tasty, fresh and again great staff. Highly recommend this place - fantastic stay - thank you!!…
