This hotel is set in a quiet location at the edge of a village, also very quiet, at least when we visited in October. We were moved to a very pleasant, light and modern poolside suite after complaining about the rather dark and old-fashioned one we were first allocated. This proved to be much better and - as with all...

We stayed for a week to do some walking locally. The room we were given was a little dark and the covered outside area overlooking one of the pools, rather dank. But it was November. In the height of summer such cover and shade would have been very welcome. The room itself was fine: tidy and comfortable. The general ambience...

I visited this hotel as a "luxury" add on after a trip to Malta. As other reviewers have said, it was tired and shabby. There were various nicks in the bath in my bathroom and Wifi was terrible. I was a woman traveller on my own and they put my in one of the standalone bungalows furthest from reception with...

We stayed for a week as part of a walking holiday. Standard room is comfortable and although bathroom would benefit from a thermostatically controlled shower everything worked OK. Nice thick bathrobes provided. The weather wasn't warm enough to try to two unheated outdoor pools (they looked inviting). We did make good use of the spa area with jacuzzi, steam room...

November 2016 - We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Ta Cenc Hotel which we booked through Malta Direct. The transport arranged for us , airport to ferry and ferry to hotel was excellent as was our return journey after our stay. The hotel is classed five start which regrettably it is not. It has the potential...

This hotel in 1971 was undoubtedly stunning when it was first built by the Italians and it still retains much of its bohemian charms but it is now badly in need of some updating. It is a real shame because I don't think it would take a huge investment or effort just to rectify the crucial details that go into...

My wife and I visited the outdoor restaurant in this so called 5 star hotel. The outdoor area has plenty of cats roaming around the tables which in itself is already an unhygienic practice. The umbrellas were patched up and one had a rip in it. This tells me that there is no quality control. We ordered an Angus burger...

Thank you for visiting the hotel Ta’ Cenc & Spa. Once again we are sorry that you had a negative experience. As you know you ordered two burgers, but one of the burgers was ordered medium done (although we do not normally serve burgers in this way), which is why there was blood. The burger was sent back and cooked...

Absolutely stunning location with breathtaking views & the gardens is paradise on earth with lots of space & two large surrounded swimming pools. The rooms were excellent & without losing its tradition kept very modern.

We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this quiet hotel with its perfect location to the sites we'd come to visit. The service was friendly and efficient and we appreciated the reception's help in organizing transport around the island and the evening bar staff who extended the time for bar meals for us. We stayed in a beautiful...

We had a very disappointing 2 night stay. Everything was very tired, shabby and had seen better days including the attitude of most of the staff. Definitely not 5 star. We felt quite depressed to stay there. The sun beds were tatty and the cushions left out overnight so were mouldy and filthy looking with black mildew stains. Such that...
