This is a lovely place with exposed beams and lots of character. We took Mother there for a treat on Mothering Sunday and we had one of the best roast dinners that we have ever tasted. It was in the light and airy conservatory, and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Definitely recommend...

We were very pleased with our meal the cooking was all cooked on the premises and at a very good price, the landlady makes you feel at home always has time for you and treats you as one of the family, if you are passing through there are rooms upstairs but book before you arrive.

What a lovely little find. A friend took me to this pub for lunch. A quick 10 minuets from home, I had fish cakes and my friend had lasagna. All home made and delicious, served by friendly owners. Sutch a lovely clean and looked after pub. Will be returning.

I was looking forward to eating at your establishment with my wife on Friday 18th March as your food was recommended. After the treatment I received from the man who answered your telephone just after 12 noon on friday, who was abrupt and not welloming, I certainly will not now or in the future. I asked what time you served...

Impromptu dinner on a Friday night. Service is friendly and efficient. The menu is good, something for everyone. Food is of good quality, cooked fresh so not fast food. Thoroughly recommend the steak & kidney pie.

In line with what others have said, this is very basic bed and breakfast behind a pub. No frills whatsoever (not even soap). Breakfast stuff in the room. Small room with minimum sized en suite. Very clean. Recommended if you only want a bed for the night and don't intend to be in the room for very long. Pub seemed...
