We've just returned from a two night stay at the Kenmuir Arms Hotel, New Luce. We were walking part of the Southern Upland Way. For anyone looking for accommodation on the Portpatrick - New Luce section of the walk, we would thoroughly recommend the Kenmuir Arms Hotel. Food and accommodation were excellent - very homely. The owners couldn't have been...

The hotel is superb value; we payed £60 per room per night b&b for a double room which was small but sufficient with a small en-suite. The rooms and the hotel are decorated in a traditional style which suites the building and the village....

We stayed two nights and were made very welcome by owners Paul & Alison. The room was comfortable with an ensuite that had a great large shower. The food was brilliant from a varied menu and at a very resonable price. The bar is cozy and has well kept real ale as well as the usual beers. There is a...

Wonderful stay at the Kenmuir Arms: charming, historic, clean, comfortable. My great-great-grandparents were married in New Luce in 1831! Alison was a delightful host; breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommended.

we were walking the Southern Upland Way, and stopped for a meal and drinks at Kenmuir Arms in New Luce. Fantastic home-cooked food, great atmosphere, value for money and very friendly staff. So much so that we returned another two times before we had to leave the area, but we know we will be back.

Thank Sissel C
