I have booked the majority of my vacations per the recommendations of TripAdvisor reviews, and my stay at this resort made me feel compelled to contribute and write an honest review: My boyfriend and I spent a week and a half at this resort in November of 2013. My partner is an Avid/Advanced diver, and I am a recreational diver...

Thank for this review, we appreciate the time and effort to give a balanced comments. As this was several months ago its difficult to comment on the specific points that were not perceived up to the standard we aim for. We can see that there if someone is not a keen diver or snorkeler then they naturally place more emphasis...

I spent the first week of May 2014 at this resort snorkeling and free diving, and this is the best of all the places I've enjoyed. My first time with a local (Papuan) snorkel buddy who was a good diver, cheerful, musically talented and exceptionally keen eyed under water. I spent 2 weeks at the sister resort, Kri Eco Resort...

Thank you for this wonderful review Judith and you kind words. As you know the teams at both resorts try to give the best experience of Raja Ampat. Thank you on our behalf, and on behalf of the snorkeller's who read this also, for the advice on the protection from the Sun. We will add to the snorkelling page on...

I went to Sorido a little bit ago and hadn't planned on writing a review (since I don't like to write negative reviews). However, after seeing some of the recent negative comments, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. Positives: 1. The diving is fantastic. This is literally the best diving in the world (center of marine biodiversity) and you...

Thank you for the review. We strive to ensure guests experiences are excellent so are naturally disappointed to hear our service was did not match all expectations. We continually try to update our website and other materials so that guests have an accurate expectation. We have just come back from our 7 day stay at Sorido Bay resort and we truly regret not to have booked 10! In our opinion, diving in Raja Ampat is the best we have ever experienced in almost 20 years around the world, even slightly better than Cocos Island in Costa Rica. The diving activity at Sorido is very...

Thank you for this review. We advise all guests to come as long as they can and try to make it at least 10 days. This is mainly because its not possible to take in the full experience with fewer days and guests get to the end of their stay wishing they could stay longer. From the practical consideration many...

This was a bucket list place for us to scuba dive, and we were not disappointed. We have been to many places to dive and this is one of the best. The health and diversity of the corals, fish, and animals was unbelievable. Words can not describe. Great accomodations, good food, and a great staff. The stand alone bungalows are...

Thank you for this review. We are often described as being on snorkellers and divers "Bucket list". With such high expectations its rewarding to hear that our guests had an excellent experience at our resort in addition to enjoying beauty and splendour of this natural part of Earth both above and below water. As the snorkelling and diving is amazing...
