large and clean rooms. fridge, complimentary glass bottled water and kettle. some furnishing elements not really to my taste but... fixtures need to be changed. old fashioned breakfast. immense choice of local and international dishes even if the quality is average (the croissants are kept warm under tanning lamps which dry them in 5 minutes). the jams are sweet and too gelatinous. breakfast area for smokers near the swimming pool. crossing the street you will find an infinite number of really nice restaurants with excellent prices. You can get to the center with a Grab ride for less than 1 euro.

Grand Mercure Yogya is always my favorite hotel in Yogya. Very nicely decorated with very strong Javanese accent and all the staffs are very nice to reflect Javanese hospitality. For my stay this time, special thank to pak Tri and pak Iwan who have made all the arrangements for my stay to make my stay very enjoyable. This time, while I have business trip to Yogya, I bring along my family so that they can enjoy Yogya, so, I book 2 rooms as I have 3 children. As always, service are great. Bed room is very comfortable and uniquely this hotel also provide bolster (bantal guling) in the room that for me is very nice because that is what I miss when staying in hotel, so you feel like home. For breakfast, in order to avoid crowd in the restaurant, all Accor hotels I have stayed so far during covid including Grand Mercure Yogya have extended room service breakfast which is very convenient. Grand Mercure Yogya location is in the main road, only within walking distance to shopping mall and hospital. There are many street food around the hotel within walking distance that open until very late. One of the good street food "lesehan" that I like is Gudeg Batas Kota which is just less than 100 m from the hotel. Grand Mercure Yogya is one of my favorite hotel in Yogya and highly recommended for business as well as leisure.

Stayed here for 3 nights before doing some volcano trekking . We had booked a deluxe room which was supposed to come with a complimentary mini bar , and a rain shower . The room was very spacious , the mini bar was empty , the in room safe was broken and the shower was over the bath . They came and put 3 cans of soft drinks in the fridge and eventually fixed the safe . When I queried the shower ( 3 times ) they ignored me ! When I used the shower the attachment at the top was missing so the water went everywhere and literally soaked the whole bathroom , I used 5 towels mopping the water up . I complained at the front desk and they said they would move me to another room and told me to wait in my room and they would ring me - they didn’t and 2 hours later I went back to the front desk and someone else gave me my new key ! The bathroom was full of mould and the fittings were coming away from the walls !
They have a good pool but don’t tell you they share it with the Ibis next door ,they have 4 sun loungers so very Lucy if you get one ! I got a welcome drink as a silver Accor member which was tea or coffee- some welcome . This hotel was opened in 2017 ( I think ) but has aged very badly ( if you told me it was 25 years old I would believe you ).if I could give anyone one tip I would say stay somewhere else

My family stayed @this hotel from 26 to 30 December 2022. When we arrived around 3:00 PM, we checked-in to the hotel and the receptionist told me that the room was not ready yet and we have to wait until 4:00 PM. Thank you they give the welcome drink voucher for four persons. After the room was ready, we found the cover bed was dirty and there were some spot including in the blanket. We requested to change and wait again for about half an hour. There is no welcome cake or fruits even for Accor's member. I asked receptionist why they don't give the welcome cake/fruits since i deserved to get it (member's ACCOR) and they said it's only for Platinum member only. I don't believe it. Breakfast was poor since there is no fresh juice (only for Platinum's member) and the food were not variant and limited. I strongly recommend that this hotel need to be audited to fulfill compliance of Accors Hotels groups. Housekeeping was not responsible for changing empty soap that i request and many more. Internet connections was poor. It did not reflect 5 star hotels service overall.

A kind of hotel where you pay the brand (part of Accor hotels) but where you get an average service in an Indonesian hotel. First reservation. No way to get an answer from the reservation service, so I went there to deal a reservation for the next week. As there is no visitor parking I had to pay (small money but to the principle) this parking 15 minutes. Anyway, the room I reserved was on the 6th floor, blind view (the wall is 30 cm from the window). I was expecting at least a quiet night. But at 6 o'clock the next morning, a gym exercise with huge sound system occurs on the next meeting room. One hour of hell. Why they rent these rooms when they know there will be that kind of noisy activity on the same floor ? No way to go back to sleep. Third : the bathroom is really old style and the fresh new towel had a brown big mark which was not very inspiring, I asked the room service to change it. So, for all these reason i have to give a bad appreciation. In the same category of hotels (around 700.000 IDR, there are better hotels (more recent and better service at least).

On arrival our room wasn't ready then they have us a twin bed despite booking a king size. We then got a king size but this doesn't have the balcony. After another day we got the right room. The bed was broken but we didn't want to move again. Room service was cold like it was cooked and then left which makes sense since it was almost seem hour until we received our food. Only one staff could speak English

The hotel facilities and room are great. Very friendly staff. FO manager Fitry was very efficient / helpful in helping make the stay a very good one. Rooms are great but if you stay the weekend you should ask for a quiet room ... as weddings and functions can be quite noisy till 10 pm. Miss Sekha and Vani were most helpful in the restaurant . Despite the hotel being very full we enjoyed it

The place location very good, close to the bus station, you can walk too.
Very good breakfast, variety is there.
There is a small mall at a 5 min walking distance with many eatery places too.
Coming to the hotel from the airport you can have a shuttle bus for very cheap rate too.
We had very good time.

We were there for a business trip. We stayed on the 11th floor. The staffs were nice, they were polite and helpful but the room, the facility was a total nightmare. The wall was moldy and there was not a single dust bin in the room. The safe was broken, and no one as we called for maintenance, none could give a good result. In the end, we had our stuff locked in the safe.

The breakfast, the meal, and the coffee break were a total mess. Some of the meals during breakfast 6-10 am, were not available, and we were left with empty trays by 8.45 am. The hotel didn't even think to replace them with some other dishes, as people kept coming to have their breakfast.

The bathroom design was another disaster. No safety measures, for those using either the shower or the bath-up.

Accor is a well-known brand. Sadly to say, Accor should have really done some random survey on those using the group name.

I remembered they assigned a suite room for us that time. Our room was facing main road and there was a small balcony which we could access from the living room. However, the balcony was really small and none of us were felt comfortable using it during our stay.

Hotel concierge will be able to offer you rental car include driver and request driver who can assist you as tour guide at Borobudur. You can also inquire cost at hotel concierge desk.
