We stopped over here en route for Niort and we are so glad we did. What a delightful place. Next to the church (well, it is Le Prieure), offering fine views over the quiet public garden below the terrace, this hotel ticked all the boxes for us. A warm welcome, a well appointed, quiet room overlooking the garden was followed... More

We originally stayed not long after the hotel had opened and kept meaning to return, which we managed to do this year. The village is small but the hotel is outstanding and remains at the high level we found on our first visit. Reception helpful, rooms spacious and clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. River running behind the... More

It is difficult to praise this small hotel too highly where we stayed on a Saturday night in early July. It is a very tasteful conversion of the old priory, and we had an great room with a view over the wooded valley. The young staff were very friendly, keen and helpful. The food at dinner was excellent - surely... More

Stayed here for one night on 25 April 2014 - absolutely delighted with our choice - first class accommodation, charming staff and excellent food - it is an old building but beautifully modernised and this modern feel is carried through to the food which was extremely well presented and of the highest quality. Really have nothing negative to say about... More

Bonnouevre is not readily found on maps but it is hiding a really good hotel in this quiet little village! The standards of this quiet hotel are of the highest and the staff are very kind and helpful. The Restaurant is quietly sophisticated and the food imaginative.

This "Logis de France" hotel is the best Logis we have visited. The tastefully restaurated old priory has resulted in a hotel with large rooms with high standard and comfort. The restaurant offers menus of excellent culinary class. The friendly and service-oriented staff adds to the pleasure of this hotel. Well worth the detour from the big autoroutes.
