My stay there was so nice! First, it wasn't crowded because of low season so I sometimes had a interesting talk to owner and my time feels like luxury. This hotel is a little far from the centre, but it's just 15 mins walk or 5 mins free pick-up. At the night, neighbourhood is too dark to see anything and...

Very out of the way. We walked in the day which was fine but wouldn't want to walk at night as roads are unlit and there are many dogs. Dave the owner was great and drove us to and from town but that service finishes at 8pm and then it gets pricey in a taxi. They have a very cute...

It is far from the center, you will need a motorbike for daily transport. But, very nice place, great pool, nice staff, and good place for those, who want to rest for few days. The wifi could be better.

We arrived by Lomprayah ferry and took up their offer of 150thb per person transfer to anywhere on the island. (This compared to 1500 or 1200thb for taxi at the pier.) We were warmly greeted and offered a choice of rooms. My bag was carried upstairs by the female staff member. We stayed 4 nights here in the peaceful surrounds...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 out of the 3 booked nights. Although the hotel itself is quite Alright, and the staff really are very nice, helpful and obliging, I found the location to be inconvenient. The hotel does not try to hide the fact that it isn't exactly on the beach, so I suppose the mistake was mine....

Arrived to a very warm welcome from the staff who then escorted us to our room. Room was very spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Hotel is located in a very peaceful location and is still within walking distance of Lamai. Ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was always very tasty and authentic. Room has...

We stayed here for 6 nights having decided to extend our stay as we liked the laid back style and informality. Paul and his staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was of a good size complete with shower en suite, fridge, safe, AC and balcony overlooking the pool. Although the place is about 15...

This hotel was brilliant the staff were really lovely they chatted and smiled all day long. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from town which was great for us as we wanted peace and quiet while still being able to head out for tea or a few drinks although the food at the hotel was brilliant and they will...

We spent our first week out of a month in Thailand at Tropical Palm. We bookd based on the great reviews. It is indeed a lovely place, and though not a luxury resort the staff works very hard to please. And the price is a HUGE value for money. Since it's set a bit out of the way of the...

Not long returned from my our fourth stay here in about 2 years and good to see nothing has changed. Still the same excellent service and hospitality. Sorry to see that Ya has left but she has gone onto things better suited for herself and I wish her well. In saying this, Pen has done a grand job of stepping...
