Me and my wife camped at one of the camp sites; we loved the privacy of the camp sites that is enclosed with reads, we enjoyed the ablution block which is open and cleaned daily. Snorkeling at Kosi Mouth is the best snorkeling experience we had thus far.

We had a happy stay and would recommend a visit to anyone. Ken and the team are very helpful I will be back again. The campsite is family friendly with a lovely clean pool and a honour bar. We did the boat trip on the lakes with Ian which I would recommend, nice snorkeling in the mangrove and very special...

Our dream of re-visiting Kosi Bay came true, and we were not disappointed. Despite our tardy arrival, Ken was gracious and kind. Our rustic chalet was perfect, romanticised by the "4-poster" mosquito net. The white linen testimony to luxury. The en-suite outside shower, enclosed by reeds, was an absolute hit. What can beat showering under the stars to the music...

Having been innumerable times to Tembe Elephant Park, we were persuaded by the advertising to try their Tembe Kosi Lodge. We brought overseas guests and were embarrassed at the lack of service , and the general couldn't care less attitude of the staff. The Tusker Suite tents cannot in themselves be faulted, but as they abut onto a general camp site,...

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. It is unfortunate that you were given the wrong impression on booking with the Tembe booking agent. We have an association with Tembe Elephant Park and they market independently to offer a joint package to their proposed guests. We are a lodge that caters for numerous guest options...

We were delighted to get a last minute 5-night campsite booking so close to Easter. In terms of location, it's as close as one can get to Kozi mouth and permits into the mouth are no problem after a once-off payment at the camp. Safety is no problem - the local folk are friendly and we enjoyed a run through...

This place was a definite highlight of our trip to KZN. The lodge was easily accessible via a short dirt road from the main road, both in good condition. A 4x4 is necessary to get to the beach but luckily we were staying with family who had such a vehicle, though trips were offered at a small charge for those...

I do not like going to the same place twice, as I believe there is too much to be seen of our country. However, Utshwayelo is awesome and offers so much. We have a 17 month old boy, and this holiday was just awesome, fo all of us. Nice camping spots, clean ablutions, friendly people, no crime and everything we...

We awaited this trip most eagerly from almost a year prior to going and despite potential over-anticipation were not disappointed. Our 8 night stay in one of the campsites was great. We were particularly impressed by how safe we felt in the camp. We often go to places where wild animals have become a worry, not least of all the...
