This is our 4th time at this establishment. Everything is certainly not perfect, there are a few points to improve, but overall it is comfortable, quiet and the staff is helpful. We were lucky enough to have a fully furnished room (tower where there is the buffet restaurant). New this year: - if you book at one of the 3 restaurants (including the pizzeria and the buffet restaurant) for dinner, you have a preferential rate of 28 euros per person; - if you notify before 8 p.m. that you do not want your room cleaned the next day, you are entitled to a 5 euro reduction voucher valid in one of the 3 restaurants (note: offer cannot be combined with the one above ). We appreciated these efforts, but regretted that this was not explained more clearly upon our arrival. Do not hesitate to ask !

This hotel has positive points, potential, but some points need better...
Starting by check unprepared employees, or with lack of motivation, limit themselves to indicate the room without giving information without being asked, to know how the half Pension worked, dinner and PA hours, room for meals and other questions I had to question... At the check out neither a thank you nor a hope you liked it, it was a very impersonal thing, had never happened to me in any hotel...
The common spaces are large and cozy, however if we fix some details need maintenance... The studio sea view the bedroom had a good size and a really stunning view, had a modern air and was comfortable the toilet door and support furniture to the same needed maintenance...
As for the PA and dinner nothing to say, the options were good in both cases and the staff were very friendly, explained everything in detail and were very attentive...
The outdoor space I have no negative reviews except the lack of sun loungers and lack of civism of some guests who put the towel without being there... For a family hotel could have an outdoor park...
A negative point was the time they took to silence the fire alarm after verifying that it was false alarm this demonstrates lack of knowledge of how the power plant works, since after verifying which cause is false the same silences in less than a minute...

Great place , room for improvement. Great location , the studio was great and clean, breakfast was very good. The experience on the Italian restaurant was terrible , our order was forgotten and they did not had the courage to say until confronted . Guests on other tables that arrived after us were served before and the staff couldn’t realize it until we called their attention. The food is average and although the staff is nice and kind they don’t seem to have the necessary training and experience . An area to pay attention and to improve is the smell and cleanness of the public bathrooms close to lobby .

The hotel is very well located, it is a pity to let everything go to the dam! They don't do any remodeling! You need everything! The rooms have separate beds that can not be combined and no one warns at the hotel when we make the Reservation! All the spoiled curtains let the light in at dawn! Bad isolation, listen to everything! The pillows are too bad! It hurts your neck and back! The ugly pools! With the super dirty water! R the indoor pools do not have the water heated! Poor employees do what they can.
For the price and for 4 stars do not recommend! It leaves much to be desired!

Terrible. Rooms shabby. No Wi-Fi access from the room and despite reporting it personally to the front desk on 3 occasions and by email to Customer Service, nothing was done. No apologies, no attempt to solve the issue. Never received feed back. After a week, still had no WiFi. General service is slow and not customer focused. Furniture in rooms is cheap and uncomfortable. Bed mattress extremely uncomfortable with unhygienic mattress cover. Eating in - and out - in Tróia is expensive for below average quality. Stay in Setubal!

I didn't like it! For the price paid I expected much more. Long check-in, even because there were several people complaining about the hotel services. Worst of all was the cleanliness of the room, the floor should not have been clean since the last occupation... very bad even. Both the rooms and the common spaces are large, but then the details of a 4-star hotel are missing. It already deserved a renewal. The outdoor pool leaves much to be desired, it is green and the water is of dubious quality. The prices practiced do not compensate for the poor quality of the hotel. A positive note for the children's animation team, who strive to entertain the little girl. Could be a lot better... I won't come back, nor recommend to anyone.

Bad experience! The rooms are not nice! Beds are separated without the possibility of joining them. Hygiene is what it is! Degraded curtains finally... I don't see the need to let everyone get to this point! The toilet on the way to the river tower is all filled with rust! The very dirty pools and indoor pools are not heated. The jacuzzi is empty! The price of the stay is extremely high for the service that is provided.

Terrible experience, never went to a hotel as unpleasant as this one. Starting from the reception to the rooms all dirty, air conditioning that year worked, inexperienced staff and seems to work on pressure. Food well below the expected quality. My wife and I talked to one of the workers during breakfast and we were able to feel how nasty and exhausting it is to work in a degraded hotel and still have to endure bosses who exploit their workers.....
Very very bad

We are on our last night at the Aqualuz Troia Lagoa Hotel and Apts. Apt 1401.
Please do not make the same mistake as us.
Our check in took 50 mins and once in our suite we found dirty tables, bathroom flood damage, finger prints on mirrors, windows and the toilet flush. We went back to reception to complain or resolve but the queue at reception was so long that we went and bought cleaning items at that supermarket! The most stressful start to a holiday ever!
The hotel does not follow Covid-19 safety measures. We did not feel safe on arrival to our apartment.
Our apartment was cleaned today and our young sons blanket which he’s has since birth (which was on his bed) has been taken by mistake and is currently lost! He is upset.
We are now leaving this place one day early to somewhere nicer where they care more about their guests.

We visited the hotel during a golftrip. So we were not in the room most of the time. Nevertheless I do not think you should spend money on the pool view (we had a room without). If you are a family of 4 you will enjoy the room we had. If you travel with children, they have a nicely separated room so they can sleep while the adults stay in the living room.If you are a party of 4 adults : be aware of the fact that the second droom is a lot smaller (bunk !). Enjoy your holiday. Hugo
