This is an outstanding place to stay - secluded, luxurious, unusual and exclusive. The house is a period property but the amenities are right up to date. The owners, Elaine and Neil, looked after us brilliantly with the perfect balance of attentiveness, friendliness and sensitivity. The full Welsh breakfast is a treat! Given its location - scenic views from several...

A wonderfully relaxing, luxurious place to stay. The room was modern and looked new, the hosts were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast plentiful and hearty. Quiet with the sound of running water from the garden at the side perhaps not recommended if you have younger children. For a relaxing few nights it's perfect. Greeted with drinks and cakes in...

Hello Donna, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry that you found it difficult to find places to eat , Barmouth does become quieter in October and therefore some places reduce their hours. However we do have a couple of new places that have opened recently....

Just returned from my special birthday weekend at this wonderful country house, it is without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed in. Our room was stunning, the attention to detail was amazing, and our bathroom was the bathroom you've always wanted in your own home, a deep stand alone bath tub, a fantastic walk in waterfall shower, beautifully tiled...

The place is just off the A496. Signage isn't obvious but just look for the corner-chevron sign and exit the A-road. We arrived early evening and parked just outside the house, overlooking the massive garden (or small forest), neatly maintained by Neil. Elaine greeted us shortly after and took us to the Camelia room. It's very clean and well decorated....

We stayed for two nights while visiting friends local to Glandwr Mill and they recommended it to us. It is one of the most beautiful B&Bs we've ever stayed in. The house itself is really charming, the gardens are immaculate (it's easy to spend an hour or two there) and it's a close drive to Barmouth. Elaine and Neil were...

Beautiful location, the house is stunningly furnished with immaculate accommodation and offers a superb breakfast. Elaine and Neil go above and beyond, offering to make tea on arrival, homemade cake another day, chocolates left in the room, Neil kindly printed out directions without being asked, just came out to the car with them, just cannot fault this place - the...

We stayed at the Mill in April for my wifes birthday. As usual Elaine and Neil were the perfect hosts. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is very good and sets you up for a long walk in the mountains. The garden always looks a picture and is...
