we stayed over night and all they could give us were bunk beds which was fine. the owner is quite theatrical and jovial. we had a evening meal but sadly it didnot meet our expectations.. the meals did not seem hot and the combinations did not compliment each other. the cooked breakfast was far better and could not be faulted.

I have been coming to the Porth Tocyn for many years and I always try to get up during the season for the Sunday lunch buffet. I love the beautifully presented food but also the fact that there is a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and the staff could not be better, attentive but not intrusive. Although I have never stayed...

Porth Tocyn is not the easiest place to find but keep on going carefully down the narrowing lanes until you see the most glorious views of Cardigan Bay with Snowdonia backdrop and you will have arrived at one of the most peaceful places imaginable. OK, the buildings aren't so photogenic externally being former lead miners' cottages but once inside the...

Very impressed with the warm welcome from this lovely hotel popped in for a quick drink and will certainly be back later this week to eat Menus looked good and the hotel had a very child friendly feel Drive carefully though the roads to it are populated by joggers and people around every corner Nice Malbec.

We love the PT and frequent it as often as the weather will allow as we park our car at Abersoch Golf Club (robbing bleeders now have cameras - is there nothing in this life that someone isn't trying to make a buck off you) anyway I digress.....and we walk down the beach, up the old quarry road in time...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with two friends and had a completely relaxing and comfortable break. Location is exceptional with sea views and the coastal walk starting right from the front door. Lovely garden area for tea and a sheltered outdoor swimming pool to relax by. We were spoilt with the weather but even without this the...

Four of us enjoyed a fabulous tasty, freshly cooked meal presented beautifully on Sunday evening. The four of us all agreed it was faultless food, in beautiful surroundings. Coffee & homemade petit fours in the comfy lounge afterwards, just completed a lovely evening out.

We spent two night in Port Tocyn as a special treat for my wife on her birthday. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful location overlooking Cardigan Bay to the west of Abersoch, just off the Welsh coastal path. We were fortunate with the weather, so were able to make the most of the superb views from our bedroom, which...

I can no recommend this hotel enough. We were made so welcome and felt at home immediately. Nic and the team are flamboyant and know how to take care of their guests. My husband booked 3 nights as my birthday treat and I can't wait to go back!! The room and bed was exceptionally comfortable with fabulous views across the...

Beautiful setting but no tea or coffee facilities in room. Old fashioned furniture. 1 lamp didn't work and when I did ask for tea and coffee the kettle didn't work. Nice lounge and bar and nice greeter. Shower difficult to work and water kept stopping. Breakfast nice.
