A wonderful stay for the week in I Casali di Colle San Paolo. Our hosts Sabina and extended family were wonderful, helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for local activities. The apartment was of a very high standard, very well equipped and very clean. The pool and surrounding areas were very peaceful and beautiful. Only thing to improve was...

My family and I spent a glorious week at Colle this past summer. The accomodations were lovely( restored farmhouse in Umbria), the price was reasonable, the pool and the views were fantastic, and it was amazingly child friendly. Often we have found that to find a place that is child friendly, we had to give up on anything that felt...

We stayed in a beautifully refurbished farmhouse in Colle San Paulo. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, clean, and lovely place. We had plenty of room for our family. Our three teenagers loved swimming in the pool. We spent hours as a family walking along the trails. The owners were extremely kind and accomodating and spoke perfect English....

We were there as a family with four children. When we had arrived we were very surprised to see the beauty and the comfortability of the apartement. It was much better than the pictures on the internet. It was big and absolutely new. The whole apartement was really well-equipped. The landscape that we could see from the windows and from...

The property is gorgeous with plenty of places to hike. The fire flies at night were magical. We drove to a different city every day and everything was within 45 minutes of the property. The accommodations were beautiful. We had a 2 story apartment with a kitchen. Laundry facilities were available. There is a lovely pool area and patios everywhere...

We stayed at the Casali in early May for one week with our 2 young children. If you want to get away and stay in a beautiful location, and are happy to self cater, these apartments are just perfect. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in the Fontanelle building. It was immaculately clean and extremely spacious. We had a...

Absolutely beautiful apartment and surroundings, everything you could want in the apartment. Very helpful family/owners - great recommendations for local events and sites and truly interested in helping us have a nice stay. Great location for exploring Umbria and Lago Trasimeno, close to Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Deruta - all must see sights. Enough to do to keep you busy...

We took 2 of the apartments in the newer set of buildings on the Il Casali estate - not Fontanelle which is at the top of the hill but the family's second conversion (Molinella I think) - as the other was fully booked - a set of three delightful apartments/small houses grouped together as if in a village street but...

I stayed in an exceptionally charming, spotless, child friendly apartment. It overlooked rolling hills awash with mature olive trees. The infinity pool overlooked Eden. During the weeks I stayed at Colle San Paolo I was solo with two young lively under 5's. Previous months of chaotic London living and sleepless nights had taken their toll. The owners were incredibly helpful...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Three 17th-century farmhouses on an olive-oil producing estate on the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno (Umbria). Totally immersed in nature, surrounded by old olive trees and oak woods. Beautiful, unspoilt views of countryside and rolling hills. The farmhouses are a few minutes by car one from the other, and about 10 minutes by car to the closest village. They have been divided into 9 apartments, 2 cottages and a 3-floor villa, for a total of about 55 guests.
