We found this charming property quite by accident while on a scouting trip to Ajijic and Chapalla looking for a summer rental. The Chapalla Inn is located right on the Malećon in Chapalla. We rang the bell and a few moments later, the owner appeared and showed us the property. We were on our way to Buserias (outside Puerto Vallarta)...

We just spent a week at the Lake Chapala Inn. The best B&B we have ever stayed in! A fabulous room that overlooked the lake. An open airy room that allowed us to enjoy the cool breezes in addition to the fabulous views. Our hostess, Alicia, made us feel like family. We had great times just talking with her and...

Very beautiful and quiet place with charming owner. The room was very spacy and spotless, and it had a balcony and beautiful view to the lake. Lovely Hacienda style and the best breakfast we tried so far. Really nice B&B for couple of days.

spacious rooms with very nice common areas, no phone, old tv, but good wifi and great location. very good breakfast and safe parking, all that for 90 bucks, nice. Chapala is not a long-stay destination, if you are under 85 years of age. It's a very small lake-side town with some nice brick buildings and a lively waterfront, boat rides...

Just returned from a wonderful three day weekend with a friend. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the proprietor. She was very attentive to our needs and super friendly. Our lake front room was spacious and clean. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. It is also a little bit away from the night clubs so it is...

Came to Chapala for the Feria Maestros del Arte. My Ma and her business partner picked the Inn online. The pictures don't do it justice! We were in awe sitting on the veranda right on the lake. The view was delicious! I LOVED the pool! Alicia's sister, her husband and their son were the most wonderful and accomodating hosts (Alicia...

It was the last night of our vacation and we were flying out of Guadalajara early in the morning on Monday. We decided to try Lake Chapalla as we were worried about morning traffic coming from downtown Guadalajara. We arrived in Chapalla and the town was hopping! there were thousands of people on the boardwalk and they were enjoying the...

I highly recommend this property. The keepers are very friendly, helpful and informative. The full cooked breakfasts of fruits, hot cereal, bacon & eggs, breads and fresh squeezed juices were plentiful and delicious. Plenty of bottled water is available at all times, a car for rent is offered by the owner, and airport transportation can be provided at a fair...
