We love it here, and have stayed here four times and we are never disappointed. We took our dog on this visit and she is so welcomed and they do not charge extra. The room was great as usual with spectacular views and a cute balcony. (my only small criticism was there were lots of cigarette ends in the drain...

Great stay at the Moorland Hotel, they were hugely welcoming of the dogs who also really enjoyed their stay. The food was outstanding and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Well done... we will be back and we will recommend.

We booked and paid for four nights stay in March 2017 in June 2016. Whilst acknowledging that the terms state no refund, we had to cancel one month before the planned visit because our dog developed a bladder problem which will not get better. As we explained to the hotel in February we did not think it fair to bring...

Spacious bathroom with extra large walk in shower and the added luxury of a Victorian style bath. Snow white towels and sufficient towel rails on which to hang and...

We recently stayed here for two nights and ate in the restaurant both night. The food was superb, husband said it was the best steak he had ever had so naturally I had it the second night. Away from the steaks we had venison and pork tenderloin, both were cooked to perfection with lovely vegetables. Would definitely recommend for a...

We stayed at The Moorland Hotel over the New Year weekend. All I can say is 'Thank you' to Pat and all the staff who made it so wonderful. Our New Years Eve dinner and party were just magical. Beautifully decorated dining room and a meal to tempt the Gods. We stayed an extra night to relax and explored the...

Love this hotel and it's family run feel Lovely rooms, gorgeous food and friendly staff We always book the Wotter Room (13) as it's one of their two suites. Has amazing views out to Plymouth Sound and has the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath which is big enough for two ;-)
