We recently had a two night stay at the Nateby Inn. It is run by the very hard working Hannah (and partner, who is an excellent cook). Our room was lovely, well equipped, clean and comfortable. (Just a full length mirror would make it perfect) The food is really good (the beef is to die for). The breakfast was perfect...

Just had a weekend here with some friends, and have to say that Hannah and her team looked after us really well. The village of Nateby is billed as being close to Kirkby Stephen, which geographically it is, but it's much higher up and pretty isolated. If you're coming here to walk and enjoy the outdoors then you've picked a...

very remote, ideal for walkers but definately not for shoppers. personally i wouldnt give this hotel 4* as the quality of the room wasn't up to it! Very small room, never stayed any where with such a small room. Quite dated furnishings but comfortable. Staff were lovely though and breakfast was good.

The Nateby Inn was a welcome surprise set in beautiful countryside. The Inn itself was quaint and comfortable with low beams, great selection of beers and a roaring fire. The breakfast was excellent, but the whole ambiance of our stay was enhanced by Hannah and her team who were so helpful and friendly. She couldn't do enough to make sure...

We have just returned from a weekend at the Nateby Inn. We arrived on Friday afternoon, to be greeted by the manager, Hanna. What a lovely lady. Warm , friendly and welcoming. We were shown round the inn, and taken to our room. Nice room, super king bed and ensuite. Spotlessly clean. Lots of nice touches......foot spa, complementary toiletries, tea...

Had a lovely stay at the Nateby Inn. Hannah was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Stayed when went to Tan Hill to see Scouting for Girls and was a great base. They even allowed us to take our quilt and pillows in case we got stuck. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was lovely, the place was nice and...

Recently visited the Nateby, taking advantage of the half price weekend offer including breakfast. It's a typical country B&B, roaring fire, small quaint rooms and fabulous, attentive staff, Hannah & Sue are the embodiment of good customer service! The food is simple, well presented and decent quality and great value as is are the wine choices. We'd have no hesitation...

I stayed here when visiting friends in the neighbourhood. What a lovely place ot stay. The little hamlet of Nateby nestles among the most beautiful hills, the journey from the M6 is absolutely stunning. The Inn is immaculately clean, cosily furnished and I had a smashing breakfast. I was made so welcome and well looked after. I needn't have worried...
