The area is beautiful, the farm is in a beautiful location, has a very nice and well-kept outdoor area and also the pool is really top!
Our room was very spacious, well cared for in every detail and everything exudes a country chic air. The common areas are beautiful, the breakfast area resembles an English cottage.
In short, all attention to detail.
They accept dogs.
Very good breakfast, in an environment that puts you in a good mood as soon as you wake up.
The Argentario is 20 minutes by car, but in the area there are still all services.

Loved our own little cottage with a front patio. Breakfast was execellent. Convenient location to explore the Tarot Garden and nearby Michelin Star restaurant. Our car rental gave us a TomTom instead of the gps we booked for and it took us to the wrong address. By the time we arrived at the property all the restaurants were closed for lunch. We were starving and Marco the owner, though not obligated to, cooked us a nice hot pasta lunch.
We are so grateful for his generosity. We shall return!

Farmhouse immersed in a wonderful and well-kept scenery. The rooms are very well furnished, with a very comfortable bed and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet is hearty, genuine and tasty. Marco and his wife were both extremely helpful and very hospitable. We will be back for sure.

We stayed 10 days with 2 kids (10 & 12). Our apartment was in front of the pool with a big yard in front. The kids could play outside on the manicured lawn and go swimming whenever they wanted. The inside was clean and welcoming. We had a double bed and 2 twins that were very comfortable. The kitchen had was supplied with what we needed to cook many meals. We could easily get to local beaches by car, Marco being very helpful directing us where to go. There is no air conditioning but the bedrooms stayed relatively cool, especially at night. We enjoyed stargazing at night time. The landscape is incredibly peaceful and quiet and a great place to get away and relax.

It is a beautiful place, run by Marco & his family. Marco is a very nice, very friendly owner, who will gladly help and advise you. Place is beautifully designed (as a whole and apartments), with some really nice touches and details. Swimming pool with deckchairs and tent is also nice.
But. There are some shortcomings.
- Apartment that we were staying in (Collona) is a 2 person apartment and it should be stated as such. Equipment show that. It has a table on the porch suited for 2 with 2 associated chairs. There are 2 deckchairs on the lawn in front of apartment. Wardrobe is big enough for 2. We were family of 3 and have trouble eating on porch table (we added 1 chair from porch furniture). There is one bigger table a few steps from porch, leaning on utility/laundry house, but cats rest/sleep on that table, so we didn't use it.
- Difficult/impossible to air an apartment, bc there are no nets on the windows. Consequence is, very, very hot apartment at night.
- Unpleasant smell in bathroom. It doesn't smell awful, but it's not a normal smell.
- Noise from adjacent apartment. You can here everything. People talking, walking,.... Everything.

Don't get me wrong. Agriturismo Podere l Olmaia is a beautiful place. Really beautiful. And Marco is really nice and helpful owner. But if you are 3 or more, go to a bigger apartment near the pool.

We stayed 6 nights as guests of Marco and his family and had a great stay. Perfectly equipped kitchen down to the details for the home cook. Best bed yet: one mattress vs. two twins trying to be one. Excellent breakfast of homemade bread with farm honey and jams, plus coffee cake and boatloads of coffee. Marco was very helpful, providing info on local sights, food including a market a few minutes away - closed Sundays- and towns. This location is central to Pitigliano (a must see) the coast/national park and hill towns of the region. Other write ups note road noise, but we didn't notice it and are sensitive to this. Down sides, no wifi in the flat and no horses any more. Two more flats are being built plus a pool. They also provide laundry service, all clothes pressed, ask about prices if only washing/drying needed.
