Great hotel, off the beaten path. Rancho Sakol is away from the busiest part of the beach area. The small (13 room) hotel is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people with great customer service. The ocean room view (junior suite) was spacious and well appointed. The...More
Giant indoor sandbox with a swing, beach palapa with hammocks, make-your-own breakfast, and bicycles and snorkel gear to borrow. Helpful staff. I biked back and forth to town on my own. The beach wasn’t great for swimming and snorkeling due to rocks - though I...More
Amazing little Inn! My son, age 13, and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Quiet laid back atmosphere that lends itself to interacting with other travelers. We stopped at the super market before arriving and purchased food to bring to hotel...nice...More

Thanks for your question. Guests typically head into town for meals or buy ingredients (fresh produce from the small shops, fresh fish at the fishermen's co-op, a trip the Chedraui supermarket on the highway for a full supermarket, etc.) and prepare meals in the communal kitchen. We include the use of our bikes (subject to availability) in our rates so guests can get to town more easily (it's about a 5-10 minute ride by bike). Taxis are also available to the center town for about 50-60 pesos each way.
