It was so nice to wake up in the morning to see redwood trees outside of our sliding door and to hear the river running. And it was so much fun to make a fire outside of our cabin in the evening. We had a great time!

This is the perfect spot for a romantic little getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. My husband and I no longer enjoy rustic camping in a tent and this was like a 5-star hotel in the woods. You can still get the camping experience by hiking in the woods or making S'Mores at your own private fire...

Glen Oaks is small and feels intimate yet solitary. The rooms aren't super fancy but they are very calming peaceful and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous the staff is helpful and unobtrusive. I'd go back again tomorrow! This is not the place to go if you don't want to unplug- internet service is very minimal. But the ancient trees, laughing...

We stayed at Glenn Oaks on our honeymoon and it was just as good as it gets for. We like a more "scaled down" rustic but still luxurious type of living. We chose to stay in a smaller cabins for some part of our trip and then made an upgrade for the last two days. We chose cabins that are...

We just returned from celebrating my husband's birthday at Glen Oaks in two very comfortable cabins. Both have been updated with new amenities or spruced up original stoves, cabinets, etc. I loved the Pendleton blankets rather than down comforters so often used in other accommodations. For once I didn't have to request a wool blanket from housekeeping. The kitchens were...

My family really enjoyed our stay at Glen Oaks. We stayed in the Big Sur cabin, close to the river, which was amazing. It was just the right amount of space for me, my wife, and our 4 month old son. The firepits were a great addition and so fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Oaks. Even though the road was closed to the South, we still had fun driving down the coast from Carmel, exploring Point Lobos State Park, and taking many pictures along the way. The smell of the woods was intoxicating and we loved the beautiful property. The free coffee and donuts at the Big...

This lovely, rustic lodging has cabins that are well maintained... very clean ~ and although rustic, contain all the ammenities you will need.... heated floors, and a fireplace! The bed was comfy... and the smell of the redwoods was intoxicating!Go across the street for breakfast or free donuts and coffee! Loved it!

SO DISAPPOINTING. They're front desk costumer service was very poor and didn't show much concern about my situation. I had booked one of their largest cabins for 2 nights and was really excited because my fiance and I were having a small intimate elopement with only our parents attending. The event coordinator immediately declined our plans and said we needed...

Big Sur is simply gorgeous and after a day of taking in the incredible sights, we stayed at Glen Oaks. Our cabin was divine (loved the heated floors) - clean, contained all the modern amenities we could ask for, and everything was in harmony with nature. Service and attention to detail was excellent. In the morning, we went across to...
