We hadn't reserved, but were lucky enough to get a pitch, due to recent forest fires they'd had lots of cancellations. The staff at the lodge were friendly and helpful and said we could choose our own site. We had a hook up site backing right onto the Big Sur river, which was both beautiful and peaceful. At $75 for...

Room was great size, and very clean. They don't look impressive from the outside, but it is a well maintained property. Check-in was a breeze, very friendly women working in the store. Spending time in the restaurant, made me curious...perhaps they aren't intending to provide full-service? Food was, meh. But you are in the woods so...

We didn't spend a lot of time here is was just a place to eat & rest for the night on our road trip down the coast. We hadn't booked ahead & were lucky to get the last room for the night. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was good size & reasonably priced. The wifi didn't work...

First, this was for tent camping. Had reserved a site in advance, midweek, during fall break for my daughters. Arrived mid afternoon. When checking in, the representative said the campsites were almost all available. When I asked which one he'd recommend, it was like pulling teeth to get him to say this one or that one. He knows the campground,...

Had a river front site that was beautiful. The water and electrical hookups were nearly 30 apart. No real designation as to where your site begins and ends. $20 to dump is a little ridiculous. The restrooms and laundry were clean. The pay showers were large and clean. We ate at the restaurant associated with this campground twice. The food...

After finishing my dinner i got up and asked one of the male hosts if i could order a pepperoni pizza to go.. he didn't even acknowledge me, he...

Right on PCH. Pub and restaurant nearby. Clean and friendly staff. Looks a little dated from the outside, I would however call it authentic. Prices are reasonable for the area, big old Redwoods and a nice gas heater in the room.

We had the Adventure Tent #1 There are 3 of these that are set off from the others. They share their own private bathroom / showers that require a key that the other tent renters do not have. We parked right in front of our tent area. . Our tent had a heater!!!! electricity and lights. Since it was mid...

Cottages are what you would expect in a "camping town". Not a luxury, full service city hotel but it serves the purpose...clean place to eat, clean & sleep. Thouroughly enjoyed our dinner at the adjacent grill...VERY good food...nice camp store for snacks & "provisions". Excellent locations to Big Sur Parks. No AC though.

Like most hotels in this area the only way to book a reservation is by phone number. We parked right in front of our cabin. Clean and cozy room. Hot water & heating. We didn't know what to expect but ended up loving it.
