Our host couldn't have done more for us - even providing storage for bikes in the Hostelerie itself. The food was excellent - choice tastes and value for money. Bed very comfortable - always a plus when on an activity based stay ! Thought the price of rooms might have better reflected the number of people in it £100 for...

A large group of our family stayed here to attend a wedding locally, very friendly and helpful owner, excellent breakfast, well equipped rooms (although we found our bed too firm), all in all highly recommended accommodation.

We stopped by after a recommendation from the folk on the narrowboats on the river. Lovely old inn, nice staff and a tucked away location just a walk from the castle. Will go back again. Be sure to spot the brown sign or you could miss it. They have letting rooms so we may stay next time. Lots of locals...

The hotel/B&B is perfectly located for exploring the local environment; 5 minutes drive from the Yat, the river and the hills. Genial host - works very hard for his customers. Great room (Castle), great food and terrific host. Thoroughly recommended.

Comfortable rooms in a really old picturesque building. Nice bar area and garden. We had dinner and breakfast while we stayed and it was first class....

Room was lovely overlooking the Pub garden, the staff are so friendly and helpful about days out, the food was fab, and the overall atmosphere of the pub/restaurant was great. Will definitely return. Really enjoyed visiting Ross-on-wye, Monmouth, Symonds Yat (A must) and also the Forest of Dean.
