We really enjoyed our stay at The Cider Loft! The facilities were great - a lovey comfotable bed, nice toiletries to use and the kitchen had the best utensilies, crockery etc we've ever encountered (enough to make a meal from scratch). The heating was good ensuring that it was cosy even when cold outside. Lynda & David were great with...

My partner and I stayed in the self-catering Apple Store here for three nights in February and had a wonderful relaxing stay. Lynda was incredibly welcoming and helpful and left us delicious short bread, croissants and milk which was wonderful and unexpected! The Apple Store is very well stocked, with fresh towels and lovely toiletries in the bathroom, definitely above...

Hello Thank you for your lovely comments and very pleased you enjoyed your stay. I apologise for the problem with the water pressure, but the water had been turned off prior to your arrival as we were away. I had not turned it on fully on our return and I too had noticed this when I came to clean the...

We had short 3 day break with our dogs to visit family in Hereford. Lynda and David made us feel very welcome. Appreciated the welcome pack of bread, bacon, eggs, milk, tea and doggie treats. We hope to return in the future.

Spent three days here over the new year period. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The pictures do not do the place justice. The cottage has been finished to a high spec and everything has been thought about to ensure your stay runs smoothly. Soft towels to expensive toiletries in the bathroom. We had breakfast ingredients...

When we arrived, Linda was there to greet us with a cup of tea and cake she had baked that day. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had read a review that said you could hear the road noise so we closed the shutters and slept very well. A great breakfast with a choice of...

Once again a fabulous break in Norton House's converted cider store...we stayed in the Cider Loft. It is a perfect, self-contained accommodation....ideal for just the "two of you". We love the Forest of Dean and have been visiting almost every year for around 12 years. This time Lynda and David have made lots of improvements and little touches like nice...

Very warm welcome from Lynda who is an excellent hostess. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choices. Room very comfortable and Norton House is in an ideal position for visiting different places. Couldn't ask for more. Wish we could have stayed longer. Delicious home made cake left in visitors lounge too.
