Stayed with 2 other friends for 2 nights in room 8 (I think!) which consisted of a ground floor and an attic. Can't fault the inn itself, the staff or the rooms and surroundings; the were all very good!! Had food (breakfasts and a dinner) at the inn itself and it was wonderful. The place was packed, as was the...

I knew The Pear Tree years ago when it was super, well it is again.'We went for lunch on a Friday,it was not too busy but not too quiet. The grounds are large and very well kept,as is also the car park. The inn itself is incredibly clean and furnished with an eclectic mix of comfortable furniture. The staff are delightful and know...

Pretty inn with friendly staff, lovely rooms and gardens and excellent food. If you like being in the countryside but accessible then this is a great place to be - we stayed over Easter weekend and made trips into Bath and Bristol. Discovered there is a bus stop right outside the hotel with the bus taking you into Bath in...

Had a meal for 2 here over the Easter weekend and it was superb. Both of us really enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere was relaxed with everyone clearly having a nice evening, the staff were courteous and efficient and the décor was all very tasteful. Would happily recommend to anyone who is staying in the area.

Everything about this place was wonderful!! Lovely staff especially Janet, great base for locality into bath about 20 minute drive, worth visiting the Roman baths. Food was tasty with plenty of choice, gorgeous setting with lovely county walk, peaceful night sleep, you will not be disappointed.

I had a one night business stay and it was very enjoyable . When I mentioned about the soundproofing of the large room, it was not too much trouble to move me to another room and the staff were very accommodating. Really good food - especially the homemade marmalade! Would recommend this very charming hotel.

Thank you Des S for your review following your stay with us. I'm glad you appreciated everything. I'm really sorry about having to move you rooms, unfortunately with the building being so old, it's very difficult to soundproof. Many thanks. Marcus

We had a lovely weekends stay with our cockerpoo, the staff are excellent, food was good with a great breakfast selection. More friendly to our dog than many places which made it very relaxing. There is a bus into bath which stops at the gate so a lovely way to explore bath and then return to a log fire and...

I booked this little weekend getaway for my boyfriends Christmas present. I saw the rooms online and fell in love, on arrival I was not disappointed. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our room. They look exactly like the photos if not even more beautiful. The bed was like a cloud and they had used Luxury...
