        We travelled to Gjendebu Hut by boat after drove to Gjendsheim. Parking fee at the parking area next to the pier is NOK 120 per day. The room (2-person room, with a bunk bed) was very clean. We needed to use our own sleeping liners....More

        Gjendebu offers accommodation in the heart of the Jotunheimen National Park, on the western bank of Gjende, at 3250 feet above sea level. Gjendebu stands on an old mountain dairy farm and is still resonant of the old mountain farming times. Sleeps 116 in double and quadruple rooms and a dormitory. Tent pitches. Excellent walking. Fishing. Breakfast and dinner. Licensed for beer and wines. Open: summer - June to September winter – mid-march until the end of Easter.
